Shambhala
In Tibetan Buddhist and Hindu traditions, Shambhala (also spelled Shambala or Shamballa; Sanskrit: शंभाल; Tibetan: བདེ་འབྱུང་; Wylie: bde 'byung, pron. de-jung; Chinese: 香巴拉; pinyin: xiāngbālā) is a kingdom hidden somewhere in Inner Asia. It is mentioned in various ancient texts, including the Kalachakra Tantra[2] and the ancient texts of the Zhang Zhung culture which predated Tibetan Buddhism in western Tibet. The Bön[3] scriptures speak of a closely related land called Olmolungring. Hindu texts such as Vishnu Purana (4.24) mention the village Shambhala as the birthplace of Kalki, the final incarnation of Vishnu who will usher in a new Golden Age (Satya Yuga).[4] Whatever its historical basis, Shambhala gradually came to be seen as a Buddhist Pure Land, a fabulous kingdom whose reality is visionary or spiritual as much as physical or geographic. §In the Buddhist Kalachakra teachings[edit] Shambhala is ruled over by Lord Maitreya. Mysteries of the Kingdom of Shambhala Shambhala, which is a Sanskrit word meaning “place of peace” or “place of silence”, is a mythical paradise spoken of in ancient texts, including the Kalachakra Tantra and the ancient scriptures of the Zhang Zhung culture which predated Tibetan Buddhism in western Tibet. According to legend, it is a land where only the pure of heart can live, a place where love and wisdom reigns and where people are immune to suffering, want or old age. Shambhala is said to be the land of a thousand names. It has been called the Forbidden Land, the Land of White Waters, Land of Radiant Spirits, Land of Living Fire, Land of the Living Gods and Land of Wonders. The Hindus call it Aryavartha (‘The Land of the Worthy Ones); the Chinese know it as Hsi Tien, the Western Paradise of Hsi Wang Mu; and to the Russian Old Believers, it is known as Belovoyde. But throughout Asia, it is best known by its Sanskrit name, Shambhala, Shamballa, or Shangri-la. Shambhala is described as a land of paradise. By April Holloway

Shambhala The mythical land of Shambhala is alleged to be located somewhere near the Himalayas or around the Kashmir region. In Tibetan Buddhism, Shambhala (Tibetan: bde byung, pron. 'De-jung') meaning "Source of happiness," is a mythical kingdom or hidden place somewhere beyond the snowpeaks of the Himalayas. The kingdom is mentioned in various ancient texts, including the Kalachakra Tantra.[1] The Bön[2] scriptures also speak of a closely-related land called 'Olmolungring'. The concept of Shambhala plays an important role in Tibetan religious teachings, and has particular relevance in Tibetan mythology about the future. The Kalachakra Tantra states that a great army will arise out of the Shambhala kingdom to restore the earth at a future time. The 14th Dalai Lama has given many Kalachakra initiation ceremonies, which are intrinsically related to the Shambhala concept. If yes, when and where? A: I didn’t meet him physically. I saw him, but I never had an opportunity to interact with him. Later on, I came in contact with various Masters. Then I met Avadhoota Nadananda, another very, very powerful Master, who is still in his body. Energy transfer vs. Q: I am here for the first time, but I have meditated and prayed for a long time and I can go deep in my prayers. A: You can be in my consciousness, and through connecting with my consciousness, you can experience it. There was a great Master… we cannot refer to him in the past tense, as every Master is still here. Experience with Avadhoota Nadananda I’ve never been to any Master asking for a title, or any power till now. Avadhoota Nadananda, whose Autobiography you may have read, is still in his body. Tibet / Shambhala tours & meditation Mount Kailash is revered as a sacred place by millions of people in Asia. Kailash means "the luminous crystal" in Sanskrit; the Tibetans call it “Kang Rinpoche”, "precious jewel of eternal snow". It is about 6.600 meters high and is located in western Tibet (Ngari) near the Indian and Nepalese border. However, the reason that Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and followers of Bon religion regard it as the holiest mountain in the world is not because of its height or location. Mount Kailash and lake Manasarovar are situated in one of the most remote regions of the world. Even at the beginning of the 21st century, a trip to Mount Kailash still remains an adventurous expedition and a unique experience. Brain-Signal Proteins Evolved Before Animals Did Our human brains can seem like a crowning achievement of evolution, but the roots of that achievement run deep: The modern brain arose from hundreds of millions of years of incremental advances in complexity. Evolutionary biologists have traced that progress back through the branch of the animal family tree that includes all creatures with central nervous systems, the bilaterians, but it is clear that fundamental elements of the nervous system existed much earlier. How much earlier has now been made dramatically clear by a recent discovery by a team of researchers at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. They found that the chemical precursors of two important neurotransmitters, or signaling molecules used in nervous systems, appear in all the major animal groups that preceded creatures with central nervous systems. The big surprise, however, is that these molecules are also present in single-celled relatives of animals, called choanoflagellates.

thetravel Humans have inhabited the earth for six million years (even though our closest ancestors only date back to 200,00 years) which has allowed plenty of time for things to be created and then forgotten. Just as fossils are constantly found all over the world, there are artifacts from ancient civilizations and our human priors that have gone unnoticed and undetected for the entirety of that time. Whether it was something buried in a landslide, sucked into a tar pit, or frozen in glacial ice, these items hold the highest of value... Because they tell us about the way life was prior to our existence. Luckily, many of these things have found their way into museums around the world after being feverously studied. However, that doesn't mean every item will always have an origin story - despite years of research, some ancient artifacts remain a mystery, stumping even the most expert of opinions.
