By Barbara Strembicki ** June 2010 Text and images copyright 2010. Use without written permission is prohibited I'm a doodler. No scrap of paper, receipt, or envelope that passes me by is safe. I doodle when I'm on the phone. Hearts play heavily in my work and doodles are no exception. Some of the time I get so immersed in what I'm doing, whether it's for Joggles or at home, that I focus to the point of missing out on things.
Perhaps the nicest thing about Zentangles, aside from the pure fun to be had while creating them, is that you need very little to begin. Now I know many of you are going to bemoan the fact that you believe you can't draw. I believe that most people can draw too. At heart Zentangles are nothing more than a stylized doodle. So... how does one doodle? Ok, so you're hesitant to try. The images that follow are scans from the pages of one of my journals. Anyway... stepping off of the "anyone can doodle or draw with practice" soapbox... Ooops.
