Starbucks Core Coffee Series and Crochet Coffee Coasters. Some things go well together: peanut butter and jelly, bacon and eggs, bees and honey, and my favorite COFFEE & CROCHET!
Starbucks happened to take notice of my love for coffee and sent me some samples of their Core Coffee Series! I frequently stay up late crocheting “just one more row” so this mom of 3 needs multiple cups of coffee to make it through the day Of course there is nothing I love more than enjoying my coffee along with a little crochet time. I whipped up some fun crochet coffee mug coasters that would be perfect for a hostess gift and would also work as an appliqué. Or keep them for yourself and use the next time you have company! Growing up in Seattle, Starbucks has always been my go-to coffee spot plus you can find many of their coffees (including the ones in this post) available in grocery stores! FC01560. FC00452. Apple Potholder Crochet Pattern. I've decided to make my crochet pattern for Apple Potholders available.
I don't know how clear it'll be to follow, I mostly wrote it down so that I could understand it. I wouldn't mind help making it better. You'll need at least two colors, an off white for the apple's flesh and a apple sort of color for the skin. Having a little bit of other colors for the seeds and leaf are a good idea. Potholders are best made with cotton yarn because acrylic yarn will melt with heat. Flesh off-white magic ring (or ch4 ss in first ch to form loop) seeds With black or brown sc around the posts a stitch near the middle (I suggest round 4) sc around the next post, finish off, then repeat for the other side. skin (red, yellow or green) Do the pattern for the flesh, only on round 10 don't ss and finish off.
Stem/leaf With brown or green and skin side facing you, attach with a ss in last sc of skin. Apple will look wrinkled, but it'll flatten. To make a smaller apple, just reduce the number of rounds.
