Lazy days skirt free pattern. August is meant for relaxing and hanging out on the porch.

lazy days skirt free pattern

At least, that’s what we had in mind for this skirt. It’s about as easy to sew as a skirt can be, since it’s made from a single width of fabric. And when it’s finished you’ll still have plenty of time to contemplate the day from the porch swing. We’ve been testing it on several little girls, and it’s perfect for dog walks too. With a simple elastic waistband, it’s also comfortable, which is a crucial element for hanging out during the most relaxed month of the year. But our favorite part is the ribbon at the hem.

Cozy Kid's Roll-Up Nap Blanket - Sew4Home

I remember how hard I tried to keep my peepers open all day long, and my kids struggled against daytime dreams as well. If only we could still sneak away for nap time now. Not to mention a carton of milk and some graham crackers. This soft and sweet nap time pad with its own built-in blanket just might make afternoon slumbers a little bit easier. Believe me... everyone here at Sew4Home wanted to try out the sample when I finished it! The Wee Woodland flannels we chose are by Keiki for Moda Fabrics.

The amount of flannel listed below is actually enough to make two cuts from each fabric. We always recommend pre-shrinking, but especially stress it when working with flannel. Thanks to our friends at Fat Quarter Shop for providing the Wee Woodland fabric for this project. Any Sewing Machine (we recommend the Janome Memory Craft 5200)Even Feed or Walking foot: optional, but helpful to sew through multiple layers. Going Sew Crazy: Bib Pattern. Sorry it took so long!

Going Sew Crazy: Bib Pattern

GoingSewCrazy’s Bib Pattern I came up with this pattern after not finding any cute ones in stores. I mean, what better way to show off cute fabric than on a cute baby, right? This pattern uses a small amount of fabric and can be customized many ways, which I will go over after the general instructions. Supplies Needed -Pattern-Small amount of fabric for the front and back. Cut bib pattern from paper. See, wasn’t that easy! These are some examples of bibs I have made using this pattern. -You can make a patchwork bib by sewing the fabrics together and then cutting the front of the bib.

-You can add embroidery for a personalized bib or just to give it an extra something. -You can add ric rac around the edges. -I haven’t done it yet, but plan on using bias tape around the edges. -Use appliques. Let your imagination run wild!
