Submissions - Scripta Manent of the Slovene Association of LSP Teachers. Scripta Manent of the Slovene Association of LSP Teachers is a peer-reviewed open access journal designed primarily as a resource for LSP teachers and researchers.
It is committed to contributing to the professional development of its readers around the world by publishing manuscripts that strive to bridge theory and practice in the LSP teaching profession. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts on applied and theoretical research in languages for specific purposes (LSP), e.g. learning and teaching methods, teacher education, assessment of language, needs analysis, materials development and evaluation, discourse analysis, language policies, etc. Reviews of scholarly books on LSP and reviews of local LSP coursebooks are also welcome. Submissions can be written in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish or Slovene ‒ preferably in the language that the manuscript focuses on.

Advancements in corpus linguistics in the last decades have widened the scope of research in second language learning and teaching. Acceptable Scope for Manuscripts Authors can submit (a) research papers, (b) research notes or reports, (c) 'state of the art' articles, or (d) critical book reviews. There is also room for a forum section in each issue which aims at enhancing debate between authors and the wider community of applied linguists; the forum section is dedicated to short pieces of writing which are typically responses to a published article, a short research note or report, or a commentary on research issues or professional practices.

IJES is published twice a year. IJES publishes regular open issues in both June and December.
