Informing and inspiring social change with grassroots solutions to global issues PSP is a registered Canadian charity that creates educational documentaries to inspire a shift in how we see and engage in our world.
Founded in 2008, we are a team of global volunteers focused on finding solutions to the world’s toughest social and environmental justice issues to show how each of us can be a part of creating social change. We connect people around the world to grassroots projects, providing these projects tools and training in how to use film and photography to reach out for support. We feature the work of these NGOs in our films to share their best practices and give them a global audience to support their work. We also provide educators with new media resources to empower our next generation of global citizens. Maia Earth Village - Home. Workaway.info the site for free work exchange. The world as a whole, if I were to be brutally honest, is taking three steps backwards for every few inches it moves forwards. Wonderful moves towards sustainability are daily dwarfed by industrial and individualistic efforts in the opposite direction. There are, indeed, wondrous examples and tantalisingly positive suggestions and ambitions shining like little beacons of hope from various quarters worldwide, but most of the world’s population experience these as mere pleasant, but out of reach, distractions from their daily quest to survive.

Sorry. We just sold the last one of these! “If your town is not yet a Transition Town, here is guidance for making it one. We live in an oil-dependent world, and have got to this level of dependency in a very short space of time, using vast reserves of oil in the process – without planning for when the supply is not so plentiful. The book has three sections, the Head, the Heart and the Hands. There are now over 40 Transition Towns in the UK, with more joining as the idea takes off. The Author: Rob Hopkins, founder of the Transition Network has long been aware of the implications of our oil-dependent status, and has been energetically campaigning to increase awareness of its impact.
