Bill Gray Homeopathy. LM (also called “Q”) potencies are a delivery system invented by Samuel Hahnemann toward the end of his illustrious life.

“LM” represents the Roman numeral for “50,000.” They are called LM potencies because the dilution factor is 1/50,000 — instead of the other customary method of 1/100 dilution (called “c” potencies). LM potencies were developed based on clinical experience that the body responds gently and effectively to repeated potencies. LMs are a liquid prepared by the pharmacy, then shaken and diluted at least daily by the patient. Thus, each day the body is stimulated gently to a slightly higher degree, slowly raising the level of health until a threshold is reached within 20 days or so.

After that, single isolated doses are taken as boosters only when needed. LM potencies require a little more work — usually ten seconds or so for each dose. When everything is going well, doses can be stopped altogether. The Protocol For the vast majority of cases, a simple protocol suffices. Principales indications des Poconéols. Companies I Love: USAA Review

I thought while I was away at FinCon today I’d share a review of probably one of my most favorite companies – USAA. I apologize if I sound a little over the top, but we’ve had such a great experience with USAA that I thought a USAA review would be good to share with my readers. A little background on the company, they started in 1922 and their mission is to serve and care for the financial needs of individuals who have been in the military as well as their families. They have regularly been recognized as one of the top companies in terms of customer service and offer a very wide range of financial products from insurance of many types, brokerage services, savings vehicles and credit cards – just to name a few. We love USAA so much that over the years we’ve acquired seven different products with them.

How To Choose The Best Online Investment Platform. Hey everyone, thanks for joining me for this week’s Monday Money.

How To Choose The Best Online Investment Platform

Last week, I may have ruffled a few feathers, but I think that’s all blowing over now. Anyway, today, I’m going to jump back into the personal finance realm and talk a little bit about investing. Investing is important, we all know we should do it, and many of us already do. Npower Raises Prices by 10.4% months after profits rose by 25% Today held a lovely bit of news for Npower customers to wake up to on this drizzly UK morning.

Npower Raises Prices by 10.4% months after profits rose by 25%

Npower – one of the big 6 UK energy companies – has decided to raise the overall cost of supplying gas & electricity to its UK customers by a whopping 10.4%. It comes just days after similar rises from the likes of SSE and British Gas. Now we all know that the cost of almost everything has risen across the board recently and I’ve never had a problem with a reasonable price increase. The problem with the rises being imposed by UK energy firms is that they seem to be coming around thick and fast at the moment and never are they at a level that can be deemed reasonable. Stop Wasting a Ridiculous Amount of Money on Food.

The food we eat is one of those expenses which we simply can’t cut out of our budget completely.

Carnival of Personal Finance #435, on the road again edition

I have been on the road for the past 6 weeks, traveling on my motorcycle from Paris to Morocco and am now making my way back, hoping the mild weather will last until Paris. Safe for the money we spend every day on food, gas, shelter and attractions, and trying to keep this blog afloat while spending less than an hour online every day, I have to admit that few money concerns crossed my mind. Which is why I am thrilled to be hosting the Carnival of Personal Finance once more, and share with you the very best from the past few weeks, enjoy!

Confessions of a Work from Home Dad

Frugal Rules and I run our own business and do so from the convenience of our home. There are many perks to be found in running your own business, like not having to be confined to a cubicle all day but, then again, we lose out on nice perks like a 401k and paid vacation. Thrown in to that mix, for me at least, is that I am a work from home Dad – which has its own perks and drawbacks. While I may not be a stay at home Dad in the truest sense, being a work from home Dad has its own unique issues that must be dealt with.

Will Roundabouts save money and time for Canadians? Driving Me Around The Bend As I’ve driven around southern Ontario I’ve noticed an increase in the amount of round-a-bouts that are replacing the more traditional light controlled intersections that north Americans so love. There are benefits to having roundabouts mainly, maintenance free and cheap to run due to no potential electrical problems. Those savings should eventually be passed on to the average Tax payer but I’m not a politician and where that money really ends up is anybody’s guess. Traffic flow is the next advantage, it allows a constant controlled flow of traffic with zero intervention unless there’s been an accident which leads me on to my next subject.

Roundabout rules. Motif Investing Review. Hey everyone, Josh here again for this weeks Friday finance review! Today, I’m going to bring it back to the beginning of the finance reviews column with a review about an investing service. Today, we’re going to discuss the Motif Investing option. I haven’t seen too much chatter online about this company, but what I have seen has proven to be pretty interesting. They offer baskets or “Motifs” of up to 30 different EFTs in a system that reminds me a lot of Betterment.com, yet is far different. So, let’s jump right into it! PF Weekly Grab a brew #42: A stranger opens his wallet for me unexpectedly. That Moment When You Make Someone Smile. Is Downsizing to a Simpler Life Possible? With predictions of upcoming economic woe in the US perhaps this is a good moment to reflect on what you would do if the economic landscape changes greatly and you need to cut back significantly on your lifestyle. Some people predict huge downsizing in the future, with many of us losing our jobs and our homes as well as seeing our savings affected.

Hopefully none of this will happen but let’s allow our minds to wander a little and see if we could cope with a forcible downsizing. What would the good points be? More Free Time. Shopping with Kids: How Not to Let It Ruin Your Life and Budget. Any parent reading this is likely to agree that going shopping with children isn’t easy. My little girl used to just grab stuff from the supermarket shelves but has now moved onto the next phase, which is pleading for me to buy every single product with a cartoon character on the packaging. There is no simple solution to this problem but here are a few tactics which have worked for me in recent weeks. Agree the Budget Before Leaving Home A toddler obviously has no idea how much all the things they want to buy cost or how annoying it is to be asked for every single thing in sight. If you try telling them that they can’t buy anything when you are already in the supermarket it is probably too late.

The Saturday Weekend Review #42: Don’t cancel that cable subscription just yet. The Mass Debate Surrounding The TV The run up to and the day of the Speech from the Throne was surrounded by the controversial subject of single channel subscription rather than getting multiple channels bundled together. According to recent sources there is a growing trend towards free to air TV which is received through the more traditional aerial on the roof. A large proportion of TV in the UK is broadcast by either traditional aerial reception called terrestrial TV or satellite via the main provider that is BSkyB.

Cable does exist and is available to a large portion of homes but is not that popular. There are 50+ free to watch channels in the UK with quite a number in HD through a digital set top box and if you get a Free Sat (Satellite) box there’s even more free television. Both the free to watch boxes available in the UK cost money up front plus you pay a TV licence every 12 months but it’s still far cheaper for a far superior service than what the average Canadian receives. Mr.CBB. The Lowdown On Credit Card Churning. Turning over accounts to increase commissions is sometimes called churning in the field of investments. A related use of the word in the area of credit cards defines churning as the practice of regularly opening accounts to score sign-up bonuses, miles and other rewards.

The industry is well aware of the tactics and lengths that some consumers go to reap the benefits of an ever-changing landscape of credit card offers. While there’s nothing illegal about the practice, there are dangers to be on the lookout for when churning credit card offers. Here is the lowdown on credit card churning. The 7.2-Magnitude Earthquake in Bohol, Philippines. Good morning! Today my lovely VA Clarisse will talk about the big earthquake that just happened in her country, the Philippines. Is it ok to borrow money to buy a car? Is now the time to get your financial house in order? If the trouble that has been going on with the US debt ceiling this week has taught us anything it should be this, when it comes to the global economy things are still a lot more fragile than leaders would like us to believe.

The fact that the US national debt currently stands at around 17 trillion dollars and lawmakers are still having to raise the debt ceiling again and again just to be able to pay the bills shows that the world’s largest economy has big issues, issues that it currently has no grand plan for resolving.
