HALF-TIME RATES

Half time bets refer to the relevant game sections of the sporting event at the betting https://footballbettingguide.co.ke/betting-sites/mozzartbet.html. Since soccer betting is considered dominant in the sports betting industry, the term quickly established itself. Half-term bets can be used in different ways - so we want to take a closer look at the individual types of this bet and the strategic considerations associated with them.

What is break rate?

Break betting at Betting in Kenya is a sports betting that focuses on the game parts of a sporting event. In football, this is two halves of 45 minutes each. This type of bet can also be found in many other sports and is based on the respective sections of the game. In hockey it will be the third place, in American football and basketball - a quarter, in basketball - nine innings, and in tennis, volleyball, etc., as you know, sets are played out. By design, this bet is no different from a regular bet.

What are the break betting strategies?

The respective game sections form the starting point for betting and open up a very wide and varied betting range that we would like to show you below. Football is our focus.

"Classic" time-time bet: bet on the account during a break

The most original form of this type of bet is a tip for the result after the first 45 minutes, that is, after the 1st half. Thus, this is a regular sports bet where the bet is on the winner. You can put it conditionally: one match becomes two! Now, when placing your bets, you have a choice: either you bet according to the well-known 1X2 principle (1 = home win, X = draw, 2 = away win) or guess the exact result of the break. The odds are compared with the exact result. Of course, the 1X2 bet will turn out to be much higher, since the probability of winning is obviously lower. In general, it should be borne in mind: when betting on a break, the chances of leadership in a team are higher after the first 45 minutes than after regular playing time. This is because the break score is 0: 0 or 1: 1 much more often than the final score! Therefore, the odds for a draw in this type of bet are traditionally lower than usual. However, betting on the favorite's advantage during the break turns out to be more profitable. We want to show you these differences with the example of Hanover 96 versus Borussia Dortmund:

- Odds
Bet on normal outcome Winning H96 5.75 | X 4.30 | BVB win 1.50
- Odds
Betting on the result of the first half Victory H96 5.50 | X 2.40 | BVB Win 1.95

Who will decide the other half for themselves?

Another popular option from the family of betting on the break - as opposed to the hint for the result of the break - is a bet on the result of the second half of the game. In theory, if this option is chosen, the game will restart at 0-0 after the break. Since the favorites are mostly winning in the second half, the odds are slightly lower compared to the situation after the first half. However, as a rule, they are still higher than the chances of a winner in 90 minutes. An example is the game Hannover 96 against Borussia Dortmund:

- Betting on the result of the 2nd half Victory H96 5.00 | X 3.00 | Winning BVB 1.70

But why, in this case, the rates on the outsider tip are also lower? This is due to a simple consideration: the favorite often clears up the situation already in the middle of the game. Suppose this results in 3-0 at half-time. The shooting festival can of course continue after the break. However, there is a great risk that the leading team will switch several gears during half-time 2 and half the game will end in a draw, or the favorite will lose 0: 1, which of course will not affect the final victory.
