We are so excited to support you with your immunity through winter this year!! In this time of COVID-19 and the continuing emergence of changes in the south of our great country, I think a bit of a view around the role of the human body and yourself in maintaining your immunity is paramount at this time. Men's Health Week has been over in the blink of an eye, but we've definitely covered some ground. Lets take a walk back through the info I've shared on the facebook and insta pages, and really make sure that we are doing our best for the men in our lives. At the beginning of the week I had a chat about all things health... that is the things that our men die from. Now I know that sounds morbid, but its a fact of life, that we all do die... at some point... hopefully not anytime soon 🤪.

The biggest killer of men is cardiovascular disease ... or heart attacks and then cancer type illnesses. But amidst it all I had the pleasure of having many frank conversations with Mothers, and from this, I have come up with a list of 5 key elements to thriving through the journey. Because let's be real.... there are some days where we are underwhelmed and overwhelmed all at the same time, and the journey that felt easy the day before feels like quicksand as you drag your body through it to get to that glorious bedtime. New Motherhood in the age of Covid-19. Sitting here on Easter Saturday, on my front verandah with not many cares in my very small world, grateful AF that I have a healthy family, a stocked fridge, and toilet paper... I've been thinking about all of the conversations I have had this week with new mums or pregnant mums. The age of C-19 has brought with it challenges, and for every demographic in society there are elements of grief that are coming on through. And that is 100% OK, as the social changes we are living with in current times are like nothing our generations have dealt with. In my role, I'm really lucky to spend a lot of time with mums. Being a mum, seeing mums, and journeying with mums on their health and family travels, I get to see many elements of life. But this Covid-19 is robbing mums of many of the joys, traditions, expectations and most importantly SUPPORT that they would get at this time. Time... Wasting and Wasted!!! Have you ever had one of those days, where you spend much of your time walking around in circles.

I saw a great meme for it the other day... go to do a load of washing, see something clean that should of been put away, put that away, your kids room is messy, take a cup to the kitchen, realise you need to wash the dishes.... wash the dishes, take the bin out, get outside, see some weeds in the garden, do some weeding, realise you need to go to the bathroom, head back into the house, on your way to the bathroom, realise you never started the washing.... and it continues. This isn't unusual, its often part of life... but the danger is that you get to the end of the day "off", and realise you have run around like a headless chook and not actually sat down, or done something to feed your soul.
