I am sure everyone knows about Bobbi Brown but if you don't here is a little background Background: Bobbi Brown Cosmetics was created in the Early 1990s by Bobbi Brown who is a renowned Makeup Artist. Fast forward to Jan/Feb 2013(yes, it took me that long), I needed to replace my foundation and spied the Bobbi Brown Counter and I decided to give it another try.
Packaging: I think I fell in love with the packaging before its content. Formula Its rich formula is Mineral Oil and Paraben Free as well as Dermatologist Tested. Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick Review, Photos & Swatches. You probably already know that I pretty much worship the ground that Bobbi Brown walks on… I love her as a makeup artist, her philosophy about makeup and of course, her cosmetic line. I’ve really been venturing deeper into her collections lately (with a lot more products on their way) but one thing is for sure- Bobbi knows how to create a flawless complexion. I can really tell a difference in her foundation quality from others that I have tried, and my favorite at the moment is the Stick Foundation. Its so easy to use, it blends in beautifully and its great for covering up problem areas instead of an entire face of makeup (a great tip for summer)!
Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick. Great coverage but tends to get oily I recently rediscovered this in my makeup drawer and I've been trying it out for the last couple of days.
There are a lot of things I really, really like about it: the form is super convenient (no pumping liquid out onto your hand, etc etc), and the coverage is really great. It's very thick and creamy, and feels great to put on. I also like that it's very easy to blend out and it somehow manages to be both full coverage and natural looking. Foundation Stick customer reviews. I have purchased the original formula 3 separate times and it is the only foundation I have used up completely -ever.
It usually took me about a year to use up one stick foundation. By the way, I have oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin, and I am in my 50s. That aside, the best way for me to describe the difference between the old formula and the new is that with the old formula I received better coverage, bar none, it lasted longer on my skin, and I never felt a need to touch up my makeup in the middle of the day.
This new formula, while it glides on smoothly, and by the way the original did as well, but this one does it almost too easily, it just doesn't cover as well as the original leading me to believe that it will cause many, including myself I have noticed, to use the product up faster. Bobbi Brown - Foundation Stick: Beautypedia Makeup Reviews. Skin Foundation Stick was the debut foundation from Bobbi Brown (back then it was just called Foundation Stick), and it’s interesting to note that the shade range has improved considerably over the years.
Initially, the small lineup was very yellow, though it was clear Brown was heading in the right direction—there wasn’t a pink or rose-toned shade to be found, which was highly unusual back in the early 1990s. Today’s assembly of two dozen mostly neutral shades runs the gamut from porcelain-fair to very dark, and although some shades are a bit questionable, none are so egregious that any given shade is a must to avoid. In fact, the palette is better than ever, and should satisfy a wide range of skin tones.
Texture-wise, the fragrance-free formula remains creamy, is surprisingly easy to blend, and provides medium coverage that can be sheered if desired. It all began with lipsticks. Turning to the skin-care collection, there isn't a great deal to say or extol. Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick Review, Pictures, Swatches. A girl’s gotta have options, ya know?
Well, I do. I like having ‘em — that’s for sure. I’m the gal who shows up for a flight at the airport with a suitcase dedicated to black shoes (and yet when it comes to purses, why do I try to fit everything into one?). Reviews of Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick. Harajukuboy on 4/22/2014 5:45:00 PM more reviews by harajukuboy Age: 18 & Under Skin: Very Dry, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Blue I originally bought the foundation stick about a week before the new formula came out, and, while the product performed well and gave me good coverage as at the time I was suffering from moderate acne (I was swiping the stick across the skin and blending with fingers), I told myself I would go for another product next time.
I was very impressed at the range of shades as I got a perfect match for my super-pale skin, and it didn't highlight my extra dry areas, but then again it didn't feel very moisturising and had no SPF. The texture is creamy, and rather thick. People tend to exaggerate the difficulty with blending this product, it isn't that hard. Overall, I think its a wonder product, and will be a staple product in my makeup bag for a very very long time. miniequalcrzy on 4/5/2014 4:18:00 PM more reviews by miniequalcrzy The packaging is chic and minimalist.
