Kaitlin Sheaffer. Gettin' By. It's almost spring and that means it's time for another Blogarage Sale! Unlike garage sales, you can avoid the weather, traffic and crowds and just shop in your jammies from the comfort of home. And while I love these sales to help keep my stash at a reasonable level, today's sale also has another important purpose - to raise money for a very sweet 10-year old boy, Wesley! My sister-in-law, Kate, is Wesley's teacher and first shared his story with me. You can read about it here.
All the proceeds from today's box sales will go towards Wesley's fundraiser. To save time (and sanity) I haven't photographed everything in each box, but I've packed each Medium Flat Rate box with at least $65 of product. SOLD OUT! *I apologize to my international readers, but because of the prohibitive shipping costs, this sale is open only to US residents. Thank you all SO MUCH for supporting this little fundraiser! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day! Chris and Paige. It's Me, KP. After many, many requests I've worked with Studio Calico to bring my popular Sketchbook class back. This is the fifth installment of the class and I'm super excited to be putting another one together. It's going to be the best yet! You can find all the details HERE at Studio Calico along with a short video I made talking a little bit about the class.
You'll also notice that there's an exclusive stamp set being offered with the class. I've already spent some time playing with it and it's so much fun. Lots of great ways to use it and I cannot wait to see what the contributors have up their sleeves. Class includes: 72 sketches4 videos and 12 all new projects from Kelly Purkey48 new layouts, cards and pocket pages from our contributors - all using Studio Calico kits! I also designed some new products now available in the Studio Calico shop. I'll have lots more sneaks to share soon but be sure you're following me on Instagram (username @kellypurkey) for more peeks. Mish Mash. PaperANDi. Annmarielovespaper. Color Me Happy. Hi everyone, it is mini madness this month over at write. click. scrapbook and I was lucky enough to get to create a mini album with the beautiful Gossamer Blue March kit.
It included a great selection of papers from Chickaniddy Crafts (including their fabulous gold foil paper), Webster Pages, Gossamer Blue exclusive papers, My Mind's Eye and more. It also featured some fun charms, an assortment of stickers, twine, enamel stickers, chipboard alpha, some fabulous exclusive printables and cut files and a small gold ink pad. I loved the soft girly colors which inspired me to create a mini album using a handful of some favorite photos of my daughter from a couple years ago. The Cover For the cover, I cut two pieces of chipboard and covered them with fabric. The title was inspired by the fun March themed "Lucky" cut file included with kit. Inside Pockets The inside pages are stored inside envelope pockets. Page Inserts Thanks so much for visiting!
Sasha Farina. The blog. Pretty paper. true stories. {and scrapbooking classes with cupcakes.} Dear Lexe Designs | I love paper. Blog – Here it is! The Glamper Recap of our day at My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shoppe in Logan, Utah on March 22nd, 2014. Here I am sitting in front of the shop with the owner Kris Thurgood. Her darling shop is three stories tall with classes, a full on hang out room (The Attic), kiddie area, and of course, shopping. We parked the glamper outside with guests Deena Rutter, Emily Taylor, and Samantha Walker. Riley Blake sent the fabulous mom and daughter duo Jina and Alexis Barney. I was grateful for the sunshine (you’ll notice we are all squinting in the photos!). Here’s a peek at our day there: Shoppers were entered into a raffle by getting their paper stamped by every designer at the event. (photo below) You could sit a while in the shade of the glamper and do a make and take.
(photo below-right) Designer Deena Rutter shows her patterns and beautiful fabric. (photo above and below) Emily Taylor’s fabric and sewing patterns are so lovely! Happy Glamping and Sewing! Carina. Danni reid. Stamptramp. CreativitE by Erin Bassett. Summer time around here equals time with my niece. She stays with us and it's an exceptionally fun filled time. It's also exhausting, but that's another blog post. ;) Here's a 6" x 6" mini-scrapbook album I made about last summer. It was so neat to reflect on all the quality time together! I used the ScanNCut™ machine to make this mini. The ScanNCut is the first home and hobby cutting machine with a built in scanner...supper handy when making this scrapbook! First off, here's the video tutorial on the whole process: Next, here's all the pages, I love how the cover turned out. The first page... Second & third pages... That tag was made with the Scan N Cut! Oh, and one of my FAVORITE features of it is the "direct cut" feature.
Fourth & fith pages... More of the awesome layered flowers I made previously and some more "direct cut" handwriting. Pages six & seven... Stacking up and layering those die-cuts! Pages eight & nine... See how I popped up the "direct cut" handwriting with foam adhesive? A Creative Operation. One Lucky Day. Simply me. "i cant believe i did that. " last thursday i spent the day at the Studio with the intention of painting on some too-large-for-my-home canvases. i actually dont normally go to the Studio to create, i am most comfortable creating at home, but because of the sizes of the canvases i decided to make a day of it and venture the 1.5 miles down the road from my house and use the Studio as my muse. i had 3 canvases going at once (Stephen and i are planning an event that pairs my mixed-media free-spirited style with his fine art figure painting abilities and i was supposed to be working on that, i never got there, lol!!)
As i moved around the room i had reached a point on each that either they needed to dry or i was stumped as to where to go next. i have a couple larger in progress canvases stashed in the back room and took this piece out. i think it had been back there, stashed way in the back for about 6 months. until thursday!!! I threw it up on the easel, looked at it and then started turning it. MAGGIE HOLMES Photography and Scrapbooking Blog. Glass Half Full. Nichol magouirk. Life Inside The Music Box. Use Your Words. April 3, 2014 AE Project Life® | In-Progress Video And A Note About Video Equipment Happy Thursday! March 31, 2014 Joy | Scrapbook Layout March 30, 2014 March 29, 2014. Crazy for Paper. Blog. I love, love, love this little mini book! I made it for CHA and used lots and lots of new Tim Holtz goodies. I loved it so much when I made it that I knew it had to be a class. I have been holding off on sharing it until I had everything to make it again back in my stash. Today I got a bunch of supplies in stock and am ready to get to work turning it into a class. I wanted to share a sneak peek with you today so you could see what was coming soon!
Two Peas in a Bucket. Baersgarten. Two weeks ago I got a box full of wonderful scrapbooking goodies and decided I could not just store it, I had to organize my goodies again. I have to say that I am great about keeping my supplies organized and sorted. I love organization! I downsized a lot during 2013, went through everything and was ruthless – I really love what I have and I hope I can use it all sometimes so I went through everything again, I labeled all my Studio calico kits, sorted all my paper by manufacturer and labeled the packs and sorted my leftovers by Color. My desk was so looking so adorable and so my papers and I started creating like a mad woman LOL I have a bunch of layouts to photograph and share here in the blog during the next days Today I am sharing two pages I scrapped for the boy’s 2011 Album: This first layout, called Sweet Moments, is a re-do. I am so happy with it! Supplies: Maggie Holmes Style board 12×12″ Paper Pad Maggie Holmes Style Board Chipboard Stickers Studio Calico Essentials Enamel Dots Green.
