Alors comment savoir si table, stylo, chaise, livre, anniversaire, liberté, gouvernement sont des noms masculins ou féminins ? Il n'y a pas de règle, mais parfois la terminaison du mot peut vous aider. Sont généralement féminins, les mots qui se terminent par: Apprendre les mots fréquents. Voici une série de 13 vidéos incluant tous les mots fréquents qui sont très utiles aux apprentis-lecteurs car ils facilitent l’apprentissage de la lecture, étant donné leur fréquence (50% des mots présents dans la littérature enfantine).
La raison pour laquelle j’ai refait des vidéos est que j’ai réalisé que pour certains élèves, apprendre 10 mots à la fois est amplement suffisant ( au lieu de 30 mots à la fois dans les vidéos précédents). Chaque vidéo montre une liste de 10 mots qui sont répétés deux fois. Les élèves pourront en faire la lecture à voix haute, sous la supervision d’un enseignant ou d’un parent. We'd then look up the dictionary definitions and copy those down. For homework, we'd re-write each word seven times. Good, now you know it. Test on Friday and never for those 25 words to be seen again. Poof. Copying definitions from the dictionary we would probably all agree is not an effective way to learn vocabulary. The truth is, and the research shows, students need multiple and various exposures to a word before they fully understand that word and can apply it. Funny Movie Maker for iPad and blabberize.com can be fun ways to provide descriptions or examples of new terms by giving any image a talking mouth. Ask students to restate the description, explanation, or example in their own words. Tellagami for iPad and voki.com provide students with a talking avatar.
Here’s a Google tip: Enter define and the word you want to look up into Googles search field. Something as simple as using an iPad’s or laptop’s camera can be useful for students recording themselves. Share text, videos, or photos on a collaborative wall using padlet.com.
