It’s about having the courage to break free from a relationship that seems to always favour the other person, and that sometimes you have to fight for control and independence. The video for Bound features black and white studio footage with heavy shadows, representing the darker side of relationships and reminding us that not everything is always as it appears in the light. Bound, introduces the talents of their new frontman, Dan Charlton, who joined in July this year. He brings a new sound to the band due to Ironstone previously working with female vocalists. Embracing the modern metal sound, with influences like Aussie Twelve Foot Ninja and Architects, their music has hints of synth keys intertwined within the heavy melodic guitar riffage of guitarists Edward and Aidan.

This track has been mixed and mastered by Windwaker’s Drummer, Chris Lalic. Going from strength to strength, Ironstone has just opened up for Italy’s Rhapsody and now they are setting their sights on Good Things. They are proving their worth amongst the live scene and are constantly getting better with each performance bringing in new fans of all ages.
