To some, SCRABBLE is just a board game to play during family game night or during a casual get-together. Others think of SCRABBLE as a mere hobby. But with any activity, there will always be fanatics—the ones who would rather sell their soul than stop—the ones with a constant yearning for self-improvement—the merciless. Now, fanaticism isn't a bad thing. Being obsessed with the betterment of one's knowledge is actually a great characteristic to have, despite the bad rap "obsession" gets.
I'm definitely an "obsessed" individual (although my obsession doesn't just stop at SCRABBLE—I can be pretty OCD when it comes to things like organization and cleanliness). So how does a lexical enthusiast improve? The answer is: WORD LISTS. The regular household SCRABBLE fanatic might not ever look at a word list. There are usually two-types of SCRABBLE diehards, the ones who want to "memorize" the words and those who want to "learn" the words. How to Learn from Other People's Mistakes. Writing your own scavenger hunt clues can be a lot of fun, especially when you vary the types of clues you create throughout the hunt. These tips and ideas are adaptable for any age, theme, or event and will help spark your creativity the next time you plan a clue based scavenger hunt. Scavenger Hunt Clues Using Pictures A. For a teen or adult hunt try photographing a small portion of a hidden clue's location to increase the difficulty (eg. Good points if you know your wallet is really gone, but 90% of the time, a lost wallet means I misplaced it and it's always going to turn up in the oddest place.
Best thing to do is not carry a lot of 'identity theft' stuff in your wallet, in the first place: -Obviously, no one should carry their Social Security card, memorize the number and keep your SS card in a safe. -Driver's license is not much choice, but some people I know keep theirs in their car. I guess the address part is important, assuming someone decides to return the wallet. -Keepall plastic cards down to a bare minimum, just the ones you plan to use in the near future. -Keep your credit card customer service numbers in your phone contacts so that you may place a hold on the cards. -Keeping pictures of cute kids (even if you don't have kids) in your wallet may convince someone to be compassionate and return the wallet.
-Most people aren't going to want your identity, they'll just want the money.
