Harry Potter universe. Fundamentals[edit] The entire Harry Potter series is set from 1991 to 1998 aside from the opening chapter of the first book, which takes place on 1 November 1981, and the epilogue of the seventh book, which takes place on 1 September 2017.
The depiction of the wizarding world is centred on magic, which not only imbues objects such as wands, but is portrayed as an inborn ability. It is also centred on the separation of the wizarding world from the non-wizarding, or Muggle world. Despite being an inherent talent, magic is honed through study and training into a skill. A great deal of effort is expended in keeping the Muggles unaware of magic. Everyone expects me to do as well as the others, but if I do, it's no big deal, because they did it first. " Hermione Granger. Harry Potter: "But why's she got to go to the library?

Simple Wand Holder. © Helene of Troy Supplies 1/4” (0.6 cm) wide elastic in a color that matches your robes Matching thread Needle Instructions Measure around your upper arm in two places: just below the armpit and just above the elbow.
Use your off-arm (the one that you don’t use to write with) for ease of drawing the wand. Take your two measurements and add about an inch (2.5 cm) to them. Cut two pieces of elastic to the lengths you’ve determined. Find the middle of each strip and lay your wand across it. Pinch the elasic tight around the wand (one at each end). With a needle and thread, sew the elastic to create a loop that holds your wand securely.
Now comes the tricky part. Once you have the loops on your arm, you may need to practice sliding your wand in and out, especially once you have your robes covering it. This holder was mostly designed to be worn by a woman, who might have robes too formal for any kind of pockets. Final Product Credit Think about it. On that note, Harry crafting to all! The only protection that can possibly work against the lure of power like Voldemort's! In spite of all the temptation you have endured, all the suffering, you remain pure of heart, just as pure as you were at the age of eleven, when you stared into a mirror that reflected your heart's desire, and it showed you only the way to thwart Lord Voldemort, and not immortality or riches.
