Thelemic Initiation. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Initiation is the first real step toward the accomplishment of the Great Work; it is the first rung upon the ladder to the Palace of Wisdom. Without it there is no possibility for genuine self-realization. It is the beginning of the creative process of individuation, of the soul traveling inward and achieving integration or true unity of being. It is the golden dawn of the soul, the blossoming of the inner lotus of the spirit. From the Thelemic point of view, initiation is the birth of the golden flower of the True Will; it is the realization of one's true path in the cosmos, thus making for the manifestation of the knowledge and power of one's True Self. Thelemic initiation is a threefold process, having three principal grades of attainment, called the Hermit, the Lover, and the Man of Earth.
Thelemic initiation is the awakening of the development of efficiency with regard to the active execution and fulfillment of one's True Will. Thelema Texts. Liber Tzaddi vel Hamus Hermeticus — An account of Initiation, and an indication as to those who are suitable for the same. Liber Cl vel נעל, A Sandal, De Lege Libellum — A further explanation of the Book of the Law, with special reference to the Powers and Privileges conferred by it’s acceptance. There are also a number of primers on this site: Even for those familiar with occult studies but who have not read Crowley before, these first steps are still a good basis for study, as a primer. There’s so very much more to explore of interest at the Libri of Aleister Crowley, you should find something that grabs your interest and just keep following your enthusiasm! Books. Aristotle's Rhetoric.
This online version of Aristotle's Rhetoric is based on the translation of noted classical scholar W.
Rhys Roberts. In editing this text, I have made every effort to preserve the original style of Roberts' print edition, though footnotes and parenthetical Greek phrasings were omitted to streamline reading of the text online. In addition, British punctuation rules were generally altered to conform to American style, though British spelling conventions were retained. Each of the books above contains Roberts' original chapter descriptions given in the introductory contents section of the printed translation. Some of these descriptions are quite brief, consisting of only a few words, while others are fairly lengthy; yet all of them amply describe the contents of the chapter's text and serve as a useful guide in navigating this hypertext version of the Rhetoric.
