The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Charlie the Ranch Dog by Ree Drummond. Has humor, love, and heart In this utterly fantastic, adorable story, New York Times Bestselling Author of The Pioneer Woman Cooks, enters the world of children's fiction with a bang!
You can tell that Ms. Drummond is writing about a subject she truly loves - her dog Charlie; and will remind all readers of their own beloved 'friend' who stands by their side, loves to 'nap' as frequently as possible, and eats a great deal of bacon. You see, Charlie is a basset hound who works very, very hard on his family's ranch. This loveable guy works side by side with his best friend Suzie. 17 out of 20 people found this review helpful. All of the people would talk about Strega Nona but ¿even the priest and the sisters of the convent went, because Strega Nona did have a magic touch.¿ She cured anything and even ¿made special potions for the girls who wanted husbands. She was getting very old so she hired Big Anthony live with her, take care of her garden, and animals.
One day he saw Strega Nona singing a song and a magic pot making pasta. What Anthony didn¿t see was ¿Strega Nona blow three kisses to the magic pasta pot.¿ When Anthony told everyone in town what he saw they didn¿t believe him. Tickle Monster by Josie Bissett. A Mom's Choice Awards Recipient!

From a Child's Heart to a Mother's Soul The Kissing Hand By Audrey Penn Illustrated by Ruth E.
Harper and Nancy M. Leak Age Range: 4 to 8 Tanglewood Press IN, 2006 (32 pp, $12.95, paperback) Rating 5/5 Audrey Penn's simple, but powerful text would touch anyone's heart. Although this book is listed for children ages 4 to 8, I believe any person who has a child within themselves would appreciate the warm feeling you get after reading The Kissing Hand. I highly recommend this book to parents who want to reassure their children, and even themselves, the love that will always be with them even away from home. Visit my blog at blogspot -> Beyond The Cover. Pinkalicious by Victoria Kann. Not Good!!
I am always surprised as to why this book is so famous! It is awful and does not encourage anything good or healthy. First of all, they make "pink" cupcakes, well, what flavor is pink exactly? I like my food to come from nature or at least have some sort of trace of something real. If I make "pink" cupcakes they are called "strawberry" and at least contain some strawberries, not just food coloring!!! Also, the doctor tells her to eat a diet of green foods, which she refers to as, "yucky! " So many things are wrong in this book, again, I cannot see why people actually like it and read it to their children!
Since I already own it and my daughter seems to like it, I simply rewrite the book as I read it. HarperCollins should be ashamed of themselves. 6 out of 9 people found this review helpful. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst. If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff. The Mouse Asks, the Boy Gives, and the Chase Is On!
Laura Joffe Numeroff and Felicia Bond have teamed up on several children's stories. Many people will tell you that this is their favorite in the series. I slightly prefer When You Give a Moose a Muffin, but you'll have to decide for yourself by reading them both. Having had two sons, I always found them most delightful when they were the most physically worn out. Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.
