The symbolism of the Letter ‘G’ G is the seventh letter from the latin alphabet and the ninth out of the Romanian one.
The Masonic symbolism of ‘G’ letter, whose normal position is ‘polar’, close to the letter I, letter of the first name of God. This approach is justified by the fact that the letter G, following Rene Guenon’s writings, cannot be considered a true symbol. This letter belonged to the modern languages that have nothing sacred or traditional but “strands for God”, just like in the English rituals. Being the initial of the word “God”, the letter was regarded as a substitute for the Hebrew “Iod”, a symbol of the Principle or of the Unity.
