About Gap Medics - Work experience for medicine. Who we are Gap Medics is a specialist company dedicated to providing year-round hospital work experience for medicine, midwifery, nursing and dentistry abroad to students 16 years and over.
Our programmes in Tanzania, Croatia, Poland and Thailand offer you the opportunity to gain insight into the work of doctors, nurses, midwives and dentists before you begin your clinical training. Not only will you receive beneficial experience to help with your university applications and interviews but you will also learn more about your future profession. Around half of the placements we provide are in Tanzania, East Africa, as it offers an ideal environment for you to gain a truly comprehensive insight into the day-to-day work of healthcare professionals.
