The Flying Tiger Historical Organization (FTHO) has been asked to contact anyone who served in China in WW II in the AVG, 14 AAF or CBI or other related service, to extend an invitation to attend ceremonies in Beijing, China the first week of September 2015, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the ending of the war.

The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) will sponsor these individuals plus a companion. All expenses will be covered in Beijing for the event- hotel, meals, interpreter, city transportation, etc. At this time the only obligation of the veteran and their companion will be to get to and from China.

(If transportation to and from Beijing is a problem please contact us and we will see if a solution can be found.) They are dedicated to honoring and remembering the role of the Flying Tigers during WWII (the American AVG, 14th Air Force, and CBI). The people of China still remember the sacrifices made by these brave men and women for them during the days of World War Two. The Flying Tigers Heritage Park is nearing its completion stage, and this process will reach its climax in the second week of October 2015 with the re-enactment of a "Hump" flight. This flight will start from India, and fly over the mighty Himalayan Mountains to reach The Flying Tigers Heritage Park. The specific date will be decided at a later stage based on weather and other factors. Larry Jobe is inviting all to be a part of this enormous project by sponsoring a documentary that will be made on this flight.
