The main objective of the conference was to give wide publicity to water management course run by AISSMS jointly with VESBE Germany. This conference discussed the issues related with water management in India. At present, India is facing major challenges in terms of availability of pure water, its equitable distribution to the masses, scientific management of wastewater and its reuse possibilities to reduce the increasing demand for potable water.

About 80% of water is used for the ‘non-drinking’ purpose, which is resulting in wastewater generation. Little quantity of waste water is recycled and reused. Synthesis of some new Antituberculosis drugs: The prolonged use of classical drugs developed a growing resistance and these drugs have gradually become less effective and incapable to meet the challenges, especially those of MDR-TB, XDR-TB, and HIV-TB co-infections.

Totally 11 new Anti-tuberculosis drugs were Synthesized and MIC of 25 mg/L was obtained.
