Application pour l'étude de la morphologie lexicale en FLE - Vimperator. 1L'intérêt des corpus électroniques pour l'enseignement des langues et de la linguistique n'est plus à démontrer et fait désormais l'objet de conférences et d'études approfondies, surtout dans communauté universitaire anglo-saxonne.
L'exploitation des corpus peut être plus ciblée et plus fine si l'on recourt à des outils de traitement automatique du langage (TAL). 2(1) Tout d'abord, par rapport à des outils informatiques ordinaires utilisant des concordances "brutes", le TAL permet des explorations complexes sur des informations linguistiques fines, comme les t grammaticaux ou les types sémantiques ([Kraif03], [Brun02]). Avec un système comme INTEX ([Silberztein93], [Silberztein99]), on peut, par exemple, effectuer des recherches sur des catégories grammaticales d'un certain type, certaines fonctions syntaxiques, appliquer des grammaires locales pour cerner des phénomènes précis [Garrigues99].

It was developed by Helmut Schmid in the TC project at the Institute for Computational Linguistics of the University of Stuttgart. The TreeTagger has been successfully used to tag German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Bulgarian, Russian, Portuguese, Galician, Chinese, Swahili, Slovak, Slovenian, Latin, Estonian, Polish and old French texts and is adaptable to other languages if a lexicon and a manually tagged training corpus are available. Sample output: The TreeTagger can also be used as a chunker for English, German, French, and Spanish. One in which a female mayor of an Olympic city, writing in a legitimate publication, would celebrate the presence of "half-naked" men engaged in a sporting event — synchronized diving, perhaps? — and comparing their bodies, with a lascivious wink, to those of animals. The world I live in is not that one. It’s the one in which Boris Johnson wrote a column for the Daily Telegraph titled “Here’s 20 jolly good reasons to feel cheerful about the Olympic games.” Number 19? As I write these words there are semi-naked women playing beach volleyball in the middle of the Horse Guards Parade immortalised by Canaletto. Normally, I wouldn’t pay much attention to this. You’d think that people would get bored of all this. What happens at the Olympics is just an echo of what happens on city streets around the globe, where women's everyday clothing can be just as contentious.
