It's really unique. I've shared a lot of sweet margaritas here (like watermelon, cranberry orange, peach and coconut). This recipe is on the less sweet side. Still lightly sweet, but not nearly as much as the others. I'd put it more in line with the cucumber margarita. Plus, you have to give it bonus points for being so pretty, right?? Aloe Margarita, serves one 2 ounces margarita mix2 ounces tequila blanco 3 ounces aloe juice squeeze of fresh lime juice Mix the ingredients and garnish with pink salt and a piece of organic aloe if you want. One thing to note!

Gone are the thick, warm fare of hot chocolate and egg nog, and in its place we want fresh flavors served as cold as possible. I love the flavor of fresh fruit and herbs together, and I like to have little pots of herbs on my back porch in warm weather so I can step out and get mint, rosemary, or cilantro any time I want. I've been really into grapefruits for the first time in my life lately, so I thought I'd combine the slightly tart citrus flavor with one of my favorite herbs for a pretty sparkling summertime cocktail. The Anatomy of Sangria. Holy moly it’s hot outside!
What better way to quench your adult thirst than with a delicious Sangria? Sangria is loved by almost everyone who tries it and is a personal favorite of my dad. It’s cheap to make, and it tastes delicious! Be careful though, it can catch up to you if you’re not too careful. There are many interpretations of Sangria, however, it generally consists of wine, chopped fruit, some sort of sweetener, and a small amount of brandy. Lately, instead of coming home to a beer, it’s been a gin and tonic. Not in a lush kind of way, more in a Mad Men kind of way. It’s nice to have before dinner, and most of all, its perfect for the disgusting heat waves Los Angeles has been having. The good thing about gin and tonics and that the base of the drink is already there: gin, and tonic. You can add pretty much anything you want to this drink and it will be yummy.
