Eredoctoraten. Op vrijdag 13 juni reikt de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen ter gelegenheid van haar 400-jarig bestaan tien eredoctoraten uit.
Een eredoctoraat wordt uitgereikt aan personen die een uitzonderlijke prestatie hebben verricht op maatschappelijk, wetenschappelijk of politiek gebied. Onlangs nog reikte de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen bijvoorbeeld een eredoctoraat uit aan de Zuid-Afrikaanse aartsbisschop Desmond Tutu.
