Our Facilities and House Manager leads a team of four housekeepers and two facilities assistants. The Facilities Assistants provide logistical and maintenance support for the whole Woodrow team. The role includes general upkeep of the grounds (e.g. pruning, mowing, tidying woodland), Astroturf maintenance, routine safety/compliance checks of facilities including among other things, legionella temperature audits, emergency equipment inspections and tests, and day to day maintenance (e.g. changing light bulbs, basic carpentry, repairs). The Facilities Assistants will also provide support in the creation and updating of risk assessments and work procedures relevant to the role. You may also be engaged in helping us to host volunteer groups who visit for a day of practical activity, or in helping to appoint and supervise contractors for those jobs we cannot manage in house.
