Risks and challenges Having tested the product with kids ranging from 4+ to 9 yrs old, we understand that some of the activities would require parental guidance depending on the child's ability to use an iPad or an iPhone. For our first project we took the classic “Three Little Pigs” story which most kids have heard in some form or the other and have attempted to magically bring it to life through our iOS app, interactive story cards, puzzles, sticker book with stickers & pretend play mask. While the story was well loved, the mask play activity was one of the favorite activities during our market research. Learn about accountability on Kickstarter. Please fund this project and spread the word with friends and family. And, if you’re wondering, most of the funds raised will be used to pay Jason the Great (illustrator) and to print and ship the book to you. The rest goes to the super exciting stuff: Fulfillment costs, Kickstarter fees, payment processing fees, freight charges, packaging materials, and copyright costs. Space paint not included. Here's another rundown of our awesome rewards—but, please be sure to read the full descriptions in the Rewards section.

Helmsie Presents: Not Your Momma's Alphabet Cards by Helmsie. What a Mess! A Pop Up Misadventure Book by keith allen. Risks and challenges Fortunately I have learned a great deal from my first self-published pop-up book, 'A Day in Rehoboth Beach.' I now have an outstanding manufacturer that is proven and trusted, a logistics company that handles import and shipping, and I have a great deal of experience with fulfillment of orders.
There are many advantages to self-publishing but with it can carry some challenges. Funding is the largest challenge because of the high production costs associated with Pop-Up Books, but with your help we can easily overcome that hurdle with this Kickstarter campaign. This first edition run will be anywhere from 1,000 - 3,500 books depending on how well we fund. Learn about accountability on Kickstarter.
