Posted on Summer vacation is almost over. Everyone is returning to their base. Most of us are preparing for the winter ahead. We make plans and organise our agendas. Looking up the word Leadership in the Oxford dictionary the only definition you will find is “The action of leading a group of people or an organization, or the ability to do this: different styles of leadership”. Leadership, I believe, is about mission and character. Today I would like to discuss with you Excellence, how through excellence comes hope, inspiration and perseverance. I recently read about Dick and Rick Hoyt. Their story is a perfect example of perseverance, devotion, dedication to a mission and cause.
