Кому нужна эта пленка У пленочной техники, конечно, тоже хватает технических параметров, по которым она проигрывает цифре. Это, в первую очередь, длительность и сложность процесса обработки, почти исключающая возможность проявить цветную пленку в домашних условиях, и заставляющая прибегать к услугам лабораторий; зависимость результата от типа пленки, условий ее хранения, и от процесса проявки (проблема решается выбором наиболее подходящего типа пленки, а также - хорошей лаборатории, или повышением аккуратности при домашней проявке); подверженность пленки царапинам (решается выбором фотоаппарата и использованием одноразовых кассет); отклонения поверхности пленки от плоскости (до некоторой степени решается выбором фотоаппарата с правильной конструкцией прижимного столика). Интересно, что в глазах очень многих фотолюбителей, особенно тех, которые уже успели «пообтереться» в разнообразных фото-сообществах, слово «пленка» однозначно ассоциируется с образом «мутный нерезкий зернистый черно-белый концепт». Portraits of Strangers | Shooting Strangers in Orchard Road When I’m out on the streets, I often encounter faces that make me look twice; faces that stand out in the crowd without trying; faces that are out of the ordinary. They range from the exquisitely beautiful to the strangely wonderful. I started to approach these strangers for permission to take a photo of them. Some said no, but most said yes. After taking their portrait, I’d say ‘thank you’ and walk on along. I didn’t ask for their names, or where they came from, or what they do, because I wanted the viewers to see them how I saw them: as beautiful strangers. Read more about the project here. A year and a half later, I got to connect with her through Facebook. I saw her from afar, walking briskly, standing out of the crowd with her short blonde hair and tall stature. She was walking with her boyfriend.
