Eliina Shawl pattern by Lankakomero Eliina Shawl is worked from neck down and is cast off by crocheting. This pattern has both charted and written instructions, so you can choose which to follow. Needle size and yarn weight are just suggestions and gauge isn’t critical on this shawl. Note that bigger needle size increases the yardage and bigger needle size and/or thicker yarn means a bigger shawl and vice versa. Skills: basic lace knitting, crocheting (chain stitch and crochet stitch) Eliina Shawl pattern is now available also in Portuguese. Suomeksi ei ohjetta ole saatavana ainakaan vielä, mutta tässä pikainen suomennos eli luo 5 silmukkaa ja neulo kaksi kerrosta oikein.

Des Filles et des Aiguilles Yes we shawl ! In the loop Mam'zelle Flo Yarn along and free knitting patterns for hearts « Twyste Here we are again, the weekly yarn along with Small Things. I’ve finally gotten finished with my Honey cowl (pattern available here). I’ve been knitting like a crazy lady, determined that I would not have yet another week devoid of a finished project to show on the yarn along. Actually, as of this writing, I haven’t finished it yet, but I’m so close that I know I will. Then I’ll add the pictures so everyone who knows me can ooh and ahh that I’ve actually finished a project without starting a new one in the process. So, the almost finished project… And… ta dah! I’m not as thrilled with it as I’d hoped to be, but I am proud of myself for getting it done. As I was knitting the cowl, I was planning that my next project was going to be the churchmouse linen scarf. That means I need a new pattern. Like this: Like Loading...

mamoizelle K Knitting Crochet Sewing Crafts Patterns and Ideas! This Garter Ear Flap Hat was an engineering feat to get me back on my feet. You see, I didn’t exactly have that quintessential fresh-start feeling that so often comes with the New Year. Instead, I spent January 1st in bed with the flu and its attendant fever, aches, chills, and delirium. Cabin fever set in! Still enamored with the ease of working short rows in garter stitch (as with my Knit Elbow Patches), I constructed this hat in one seamless piece using Purl Soho’s soft and lush Alpaca Pure. With my head toasty warm and back in full heath, that fresh-start feeling did arrive… just a little late this year.
