Drunken Gummies (Vodka-Infused Gummi Bears)

Drunken Gummies (Vodka-Infused Gummi Bears)
This Instructable takes a bit more than a week to complete, but the end result is certainly worth it! You will need: - 1 1/2 cups of vodka (can use more or less if desired)- 1 tub of gummi bear candies, plastic with lid (about 1kg. Tub found at Wal-mart)- 1 can of frozen juice concentrate, any flavour desired (I used fruit punch.) You can keep the juice frozen for now, as you will not need it for a few days. - First step is to open the lid of your gummi bears and pour in the vodka. - Give your newly introduced gummi-bears and vodka a stir, and replace the lid. - Let this sit for five days, stirring a couple of times each day.

Dispensaries - Legal Marijuana Dispensary and Cannabis Clubs at THCFinder TULSA, Oklahoma - An Oklahoma group is taking a step toward legalizing medical marijuana in the state. Oklahomans for Health will file an application for petition with the Secretary of State Friday, hoping to put the legalization of medical marijuana up for a statewide vote. "The time is right now in Oklahoma to really get this going," said Oklahomans for Health chairman, Chip Paul. Paul said the non-profit group has made it easy for lawmakers, by drafting a proposal to legalize marijuana for medical purposes. "We've done a lot of research in other states -- what worked, what didn't, what's the most effective way, from a state perspective, to manage this and we've put that language in this initiative, so it should be a very easy thing for the state of Oklahoma to manage," Paul said. Oklahoma's current ban on medical marijuana for medical purposes has some families so desperate that they're leaving the state, like little Jaqie Angel Warrior and her family.

30 Drinks Every Bartender Should Know - StumbleUpon So I have a new hire who is about to bartend her first bartending shift and I was about to e-mail her 30 drinks every bartender should know and looking for a list (so I wouldn’t have to make it) and almost every list I found was absolutely ridiculous. For example, one site listed the Bocci Ball (don’t know what it is, probably never will as in 12 years no one has ever ONCE asked me for one). Or the Freddy Fudpacker (aka The Cactus Banger) – once again NEVER HEARD anyone order either of these ever ONCE. I’m not naming any drinks on this list where the ingredients are the name i.e. vodka tonic, amaretto sour, or gin and juice. 1. Apple Martini 2.

Science Says: Lungs Love Weed Breathe easy, tokers. Smoking marijuana in moderate amounts may not be so bad for your lungs, after all. A new study, published in this month's Journal of the American Medical Association, tested the lung function of over 5,000 young adults between 18 and 30 to determine marijuana's effect on lungs. After 20 years of testing, researchers found some buzzworthy results: regular marijuana smokers (defined by up to a joint a day for seven years) had no discernable impairment in lung activity from non-smokers. In fact, researchers were surprised to find marijuana smokers performed slightly better than both smokers and non-smokers on the lung performance test.

Chocolate Guinness Goodness Recipe at Epicurious Editor's note: This recipe was developed by Shane Philip Coffey, the chef at Alias restaurant on New York City's Lower East Side. This rich and luscious dessert came about because I needed a special dessert for a St. Patrick's Day tasting menu. I was on a mission to use my favorite beer, Guinness, something I consider to be one of Ireland's gifts to the world. As the 17th of March drew closer, I looked for inspiration at my favorite Irish pub in Manhattan.

The Ultimate Strawberry Lemonade One of the first times I ever realized that – HEY! I can cook for myself! – was when I first learned to make lemonade. I magically found the refrigerated lemon juice at our house and followed the directions to make my own lemonade. I stirred and stirred and stirred again until that sugar was finally dissolved. Speaking of which, what gives sugar?! tokecity.com gauntlet contest

How a Hangover Works.................in case you were wondering. What is a Hangover? The formal name for a hangover is veisalgia, from the Norwegian word for "uneasiness following debauchery" (kveis) and the Greek word for "pain" (algia) -- an appropriate title considering the uncomfortable symptoms experienced by the average drinker. The common hangover includes some or all of the following: The most common symptoms are headache, fatigue and dehydration, and the least common is trembling. The severity and number of symptoms varies from person to person; however, it is generally true that the more alcohol a drinker consumes, the worse the hangover will be. It usually takes five to seven cocktails over the course of four to six hours to cause a hangover for a light-to-moderate drinker (a man who drinks up to three alcoholic beverages a day or a woman who drinks up to one).

A Different Kind of Smoothie I sat down with a precious girlfriend for lunch at Fiddlecakes the other day and she told me about green smoothies. Huh? It was a smoothie, but was packed with greens such as spinach and kale, fruit, and sometimes even protein powder. Munching on my gluten free brownie, I listened as she told me about how much energy she and her husband have had since they’ve started drinking them. Well, since trying one (which I was a bit nervous about, I’ll admit) I’ve been hooked and have really noticed a difference in my energy. Bomb Pop Shots Growing up my all time FAVORITE frozen treat were Bomb Pops! Those ‘rocket’ shaped Popsicles that were blue raspberry on the bottom, lemon in the middle and cherry on top. And I’m sure by now you all know what I did with the cherry portion.
