Liz Cherhal Il est arrivé quelque chose est mon « Premier » Album. Pas le premier album surlequel et pour lequel je travaille, mais le premier que je sors sous mon nom propre. On peut dire que c’est un album personnel, j’en suis la réalisatrice et la co-productrice avec Kalmia Productions (mon tourneur depuis 4 ans, depuis le début en fait). Pour ce disque, à la différence des autres projets sur lesquels j’ai travaillé jusqu’à présent, j’ai eu envie de tenir les rênes de la production du début à la fin, pour maîtriser les moindres détails et pouvoir choisir les sons qui me correspondaient le mieux. L’ambiance générale des séances d’enregistrement a ainsi été très zen, puisque je n’ai pu entrer en conflit artistique avec personne, si ce n’est moi-même. Au niveau de la réalisation des chansons, j’ai voulu me faire plaisir, en arrangeant les titres avec des instruments et des sons qui me plaisent, sans avoir peur du mélange des genres.
