Bubble 2.0 Is Popping I've discussed Bubble 2.0 -- the new crop of social media companies that have enjoyed sharp appreciation in the private markets, often funded by Goldman Sachs (GS) -- numerous times before, observing how many of these companies have outlandish expectations, no profits, and a flawed growth strategy that focuses on user acquisition rather than increasing key metrics such as revenue from assets or revenue per customer. The companies that I lump into Bubble 2.0 are Facebook (FB), Zynga (ZNGA), LinkedIn (LNKD), Groupon (GRPN), Yelp (YELP), Zillow (Z), and Pandora (P); others in the IPO pipeline include Twitter, Foursquare, AirBnb, and Spotify. This could be an opportunity for short sellers looking for a quick profit, or a sign for bulls to take profits and close their position. Here are the indicators: Groupon Accounting Disaster.
15 Outstanding Tools to Collect, Organize and Share Your Web Experience If you’re a blogger, journalist, or simply have a desire for more knowledge, you’ve most definitely faced information organization problems. Sometimes being able to access and find information quickly is crucial. Nowadays the web is enormous and it’s a big advantage to have a place where you can store all your bookmarks, pictures and links, access them anytime, anywhere and be able share them quickly. If you’re as lazy as I am you’ve probably got something like a ‘Do it later’ folder in your bookmarks. And then you’re just shoving links there until that list is the length of your screen. Sometimes you’ve got a great idea and you write it down on a notepad, for example. Web 2.0 Herkunft[Bearbeiten] “An increase of outsourcing with web services is nothing less than the start of what Scott Dietzen, CTO of BEA Systems, calls the Web 2.0, where the Web becomes a universal, standards-based integration platform. Web 1.0 (HTTP, TCP/IP and HTML) is the core of enterprise infrastructure.” „Eine vermehrte Ausgliederung mit Netzdiensten ist nicht weniger als der Anfang davon, was Scott Dietzen, Technischer Direktor von BEA Systems, das Web 2.0 nennt, wodurch das Netz eine universelle, standardbasierte Plattform wird.

Social bookmarking sites are a popular way to store, classify, share and search links. Uses of Social Bookmarking in Education SMB's expect to use Cloud computing to make them more competitive I have posting for some time now my belief that the next major technology bubble will be in Cloud computing technology. Now a new survey showing that small business with 2 to 10 employees are pushing their enterprise toward the cloud supports that view. Why are small companies moving in that direction? Because it can make them more competitive. According to the survey, the number of paid cloud services could double among small and midsize businesses within the next five years. The number of companies with two to 10 employees using at least one cloud service will triple within the next three years.
