Watch a Volvo wagon blow the doors off a Ferrari 458 Italia
SExpand Hey, at least it is a Volvo motor. He could've just shoved a smallblock Chevy under the hood like every other car-building asshole out there. I mean a goddamn original Amazon motor couldn't make 200 horsepower if you threw $10K at it, and this modern motor makes 3x that much. I give him a lot of credit for having stuck with the marque of the car, most builders wouldn't have. I couldn't find the specs on that volvo.
The Best Science Fiction Books (According to Reddit) - StumbleUpon
Recently, someone asked Reddit for a list of the best science fiction books of all time. Being a fan of sci-fi, and wanting to expand my own reading list, I thought it would be helpful to tally the results and preserve them here for future reference. I've also included selected quotes from the comments, as well as my own notes on the books I've already read. PS: All book images in this post are copyright Amazon, and were retrieved using my Big Book Search Engine.
How Aston Martin Builds the Gorgeous One-77 Supercar
The first station sees the installation of unglamorous but essential components including the maze of wiring harnesses and fuel lines. Once the plumbing's in place, it's time for station number two, where parts like the fuel filler and heat shields (some of which are finished in gold, for maximum reflectivity) are fastened. The chassis becomes more visually interesting at stage three, where the instrument panel gets bolted onto the sub-assembly, along with the myriad switches, dials, and stretches of upholstery that constitute the interior. The One-77 gets its monster motor in step number five, a careful marriage in which the hulking powerplant is mated to a cannon-like torque tube via twelve crucial bolts. The rest of the cockpit is assembled in stage six, while the fully adjustable inboard suspension components are installed, as well as the subassembly for the front fenders and various parts like grilles, latches, and hinges for what Brits call the "bonnet," or hood.

Bugatti 16C Galibier
Once existing only in concept form, Bugatti’s 16C Galibier is set to officially hit the production line. The four-door sedan will feature another high-powered engine with rumors including the W16 with 1,000 hp, or a more scaled-back 800 hp which utilizes only two turbochargers. Legend of Zelda Treasure chest with sound!
1/4" Pine plywood. You can use whatever type of wood you want, but pine looks nice and is relatively cheap. You'll need enough wood to cut out the following pieces: Two 5.5" x 10.5" pieces One 8" x 10.5" base piece Two 8.5 x 5.5" pieces Five 2 7/16" x 11" slats Also you will need two 6 sided half a decagon pieces. This sounds confusing but I've included a template to cut these pieces out. Print the template out and cut the pieces to be 8" wide at the base.
