NOTE: Even if the addon is a helicopter, still put it in the airplanes folder, not the rotorcraft folder. 5. Effects: copy all the effects in the folder (not the folder itself) and put them in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects Gauges: Same thing as above, except put them in the gauges folder.
