How to sew a Monster
I got such an amazing positive feedback from many, many people concerning my monsters that I decided to give all my blog readers a little gift: A tutorial to make your own RevoluzZzionary Monster. It’s a simple one and even if you are a beginner you should be able to do it. If you have any questions while you are making the monster – just contact me. And you can make the monster with a very simple sewing machine – you only need a simple stitch and a zigzag stitch. And the cute little monster I made during this tutorial – its name is Ninni :-) – will be drawn by lot (my daughter and I like the RevoluzZza ribbon “lottery” that much that we want to have another “RevoluzZza lottery” :-)). Just leave a comment and on Friday my cute little daughter will draw by lot who will give the little beast a new home.
The Boy Trifecta: The Grandview Bag Tutorial Part 2 - el fin
I know on Wednesday I said I'd have this up "tomorrow", but it's still technically Thursday SOME places, right? That counts. Ok, so when we left off, we had finished the first pleat and first ruffle. Lets keep going. Grab your next strip. While lifting the ruffle away from the bag, pin your strip at the top left edge of the main body piece, and begin pleating.
Circle Zip Earbud Pouch Tutorial - Dog Under My Desk
I use a little zippered pouch to carry around my earbuds since they are the fancy microphone ones and I don’t want them to break or get tangled. Some of you have commented that you are looking for some small, simple gift ideas. This is definitely simple to make, and a little more fun than the typical rectangular zippered pouch! I can see these as the perfect gift for teenage cousins or nieces or girlfriends or even teacher gifts.

Click HEREProbably my favorite 'la vie' project... ever. I was browsing through a swimwear catalog and saw an adorable beach cover up. I sooo wanted it, but obviously I wasn't spending $45 on it, plus, it was totally make-able. I made some revisions and here it is!
Fabric Boxes
It seems no matter what I do, I can never get a handle on all the tiny odds and ends that accumulate around my house. From craft materials to hair ties, the bits and bobs are constantly trying to take over, so in the never-ending quest to corral them, these little fabric bins were born. You can make one of these soft boxes in almost no time, and in almost any size, so you can customize them to perfectly fit whatever you need to hold. Top each one off with a label holder (also customizable in any shade of the rainbow, thanks to nail polish), and you’ll have a leg up on clutter . . . for a little while, at least. — Brett Bara Read the full how-to after the jump . . .
How To Tuesday: My Sweet Josephine.
28Jun/11 After seeing Kristin's friendship bracelet giveaway on Idle Wife, I've hauled out my old bracelet books and thread from when I was a kid. Naturally I've been furiously making all sorts of bracelets.
How To Make A Custom Laptop Bag
I have been wanting to share how to draft a custom bag pattern for awhile, but knew it would take just the right project to do it. I think this is it. I made this laptop bag tutorial for Jessica’s Pattern Remix Event with the idea that you could customize it for any size laptop. But really, this concept can be used for anything from an ipod case on up to a laundry bag (kids going to college?). I first learned the technique from Carrie at Gracie Lou’s Quilt Shoppe in Salem, UT.

Denim Sunburst Textile Art
Here is one of my projects that was featured on Craftgawker a while back: Denim Sunburst Textile Art The process of making the wall hanging is very simple, yet very time consuming. I simply cut old denim jeans into small rectangular pieces of all different sizes. Most of the strips were thinner than 1 inch. Then I began to sew then one by one onto a fabric backing.
Crafty Tutorial: Super-Chunky Crocheted Infinity Scarf [Giveaway!]
By popular demand, you can now download the PDF for this pattern here!!! I got a bunch of emails, comments, and tweets asking me to do a tutorial for the giant bulky infinity scarves I’ve been crocheting. Usually, when I get a request for something, even if it’s just one of you, I’ll go for it… So, this is my infinity scarf that I made for myself, though I haven’t worn it yet. It’s been far too warm for a big bulky scarf like this. This post was an entire weekend in the making.
