Mais qui reste-t-il pour protéger les banlieues – qu’elles soient pavillonnaires ou bétonnées ? Ce déficit est relativement logique : la culture « super-héros » s’est construite sous le règne de la banlieue pavillonnaire, symbole du rêve américain et qui ne peut donc qu’être tranquille et apaisée ; inversement, la ville dense est perçue comme violente et dépravée, un terrain de jeu idéal pour les super-héros (voir aussi ici).
