Vacation & Short Term Rentals Why Andalusia is a great workation destination for digital nomads - webworktravel In a few weeks we’re meeting up in Tarifa again. Coming down for the Tarifa Workation would not just be a great chance to finally experience Tarifa, but also the entire region of Andalusia, Southern Spain. In fact, I believe that the region has the potential to become a major digital nomad hub over the next few years. While the region is still lacking in coworking spaces (which is slowly changing) there are so many other reasons why you should make your way down here as well. Amazing cities and small towns Sevilla, Malaga, Granada, Cadiz are all very unique and special places to visit and live in. Super easy and inexpensive to reach Getting to Andalusia is super easy and cheap. Not just package tourism Southern Spain has a reputation for being full of package tourism. Beaches and mountains Andalusia has much more to offer than just beaches. Any climate you want Cheapest rental cars in the World A great way to explore Andalusia is to do it by car. Adventures at your doorstep Super affordable

Trippy: Bringing Your Friends And Social Recommendations To Travel Planning There are hundreds of travel sites out there that will help you plan your trip, but often these guides come in the form of game-ified networks or consist mainly of questionable crowdsourced content from local experts — in other words, strangers. More often than not, these people are incentivized to write reviews, making the information questionable at best. Granted, there are some cool startups, like Triposo and Gogobot out there, but sites and apps like the former are taking an algorithmic approach to travel recommendations — no real people in sight. Trippy, a startup launching at TechCrunch Disrupt today, is of the mindset that recommendations are always better when they come from people you trust and that know you well — your friends. Trippy believes that tapping into the travel experiences of your friend (people you implicitly trust) is far more valuable than receiving advice from strangers. Presentation: Backstage interview:

HolidayPirates – UK and european Travel Deals! 10 incredible day trips from Vancouver by John Lee· Pin this image Breathtaking scenery keeps camera-snappers occupied at the Sea to Sky Gondola. Image by John Lee / Lonely Planet Steveston An hour by transit from Vancouver (Canada Line SkyTrain to Richmond-Brighouse Station then a 401 bus) this pretty fishing village fringes the giant Fraser River. Pin this image Steveston’s Fraser River waterfront is well worth a stroll. Richmond Steveston is a neighborhood within the City of Richmond but the two couldn’t be more different. Dinner-wise, peruse restaurant-lined Alexandra Road – or hit the city’s celebrated seasonal night markets. Richmond’s two weekend-only May to October markets are steam-shrouded smorgasbords of everything from fermented stinky tofu to fried potato spirals on sticks.
