Fonts for Print, Products & Screens | MyFonts Free Music Archive ::: LibreShot ::: Unique Free Stock Images For Commercial Use Rolled Flower Tutorial Hello! I’ve had some requests for some instructions on how I put my rolled flowers together so I’ve done a picture tutorial for you today with lots of pictures, you can see the 3 different rolled flowers in the picture below, each with its own colour to avoid confusion. I’ve made my flowers today with light weight cardstock (layering weight) although in my previous posts I made these flowers with medium weight, heavy weight cardstock and a sturdy vellum, so they can be made out of anything really. These are the tools I use but don’t worry there are alternatives for each one. I use a stamping pad but a mouse mat or piece of foam will work just fine and I use tweezers to roll my flowers although a quilling tool works extremely well too. You will also need something with a round end, I have a large embossing stylus and a cake decorating sugar paste tool but you might have a round end on a paint brush etc which will do just fine. I continue this for approx 2/3rds of the petals.

Site : LibreStock - via Archimag Dans "Outils Web"

Box template for a square box | Images By Heather M's Blog Here is an svg template for cutting a square box. Set the height at 8.75 inches for a box that is a 2.75 inch cube. The baby bug will cut a 1.75 inch box if you set the height at 5.5 inches. The layered file has a layer for scoring and a layer with the window so that you can easily cut either a solid box or use your favorite shape for the window. You can turn a blade upside down in the holder to score and it works well, but I’m not sure what that might do to your holder if you do it often. I decided to try leaving the blade down, and I lowered the pressure setting all of the way down. If you don’t use the scoring layer, score at the dashed lines shown below. The download includes a layered svg for use with SCAL 2.0, a single layer svg for use with SCAL 1.0, and the png file for printing and hand cutting (this version won’t make a 2.75 inch box unless you have a wide format printer). Download the files from here. Like this: Like Loading...

Social Media in the Classroom It shouldn’t come as a surprise that social media has changed more than just how we pass the time, it has now infused itself into formal learning channels. Although adoption is slow (for instance, only 15% of teachers find value in Facebook, Wiki, and other social networks), time will only show that it will rise. Interestingly though, about one third of teachers surveyed for this infographic say they use social networking or social media for their instruction. Seeing as social media is now mainstream, to what extent do we combine it with instructional design methodology? Is it possible to get beyond just the standard “youtube” clip, and engage learners in a way that they are accustomed to every day? I think this is a thin line, but if done correctly, could prove valuable. The one thing that should be avoided at all costs is relying upon social media as the main venue for the learning at hand. My personal opinion is to use social media (or any “glitzy” functionality) in low quantities.
