Progressive Rock Music Ultimate Discography ... with Free MP3, Videos and Reviews
The Great Tease This is the first I have heard of Subterranean Masquerade, but it certainly won't be the last. From what I've heard, this band seems to be a bit of an enigma ? the Wintersun of the heavy prog world, so to say. The band's sole full-length album, Suspended Animation Dreams was released to great acclaim back in 2005, and the band has more or less been silent since. Gaining a cult following from that album, and their 2004 EP Temporary Psychotic State, Subterranean Masquerade went into long term hiding, until last year, when they bubbled up again, with the single Home, released on limited 7" vinyl.

Top 5 Buenos Aires Record Shops
Setting out to find the top five record shops in Buenos Aires is a sisyphean task; every shop you explore a vendor or friendly customer recommends three equally or unique other music outlets. Although mp3s and iPods have crippled music retailers’ sales worldwide, it would seem as though Buenos Aires has resisted more than some other major cities. In almost every one of the central shopping galleries there’s a record shop, if not three. The result is that this list is by no means exhaustive: there are great record shops I visited that don’t appear here. This is rather an attempt to cover a broad mix of genres and formats that should suit all manner of different tastes. Minton’s has its own wine brand (Photo by Lucas Radicella)

King Crimson
King Crimson are a progressive rock band. Formed in London in 1968 (but featuring a transatlantic lineup since 1981), the band are widely recognised as a foundational progressive rock group (although the group members resist the label).[5] The band have incorporated diverse influences and approaches during their five-decade history (including jazz and folk music, classical and experimental music, psychedelic rock, hard rock and heavy metal,[6] new wave, gamelan, electronica and drum and bass) as well as balancing highly structured compositions against abstract improvisational sections and an interest in pop songs. The band have a large following, despite garnering little radio or music video airplay.[7] "Everything you've heard about King Crimson is true; it's an absolutely terrifying place." – Bill Bruford[8]

Biography of Manuel Göttsching
Modest, quiet, bad with self-promotion and with answering the phone, composer and multi instrumentalist (he's one of the best on guitar :-)) Manuel Göttsching is instead content to stay at home meditating on his next project by painting his Berlin's flat windows, but yet, he is prominently exhibited as a wax model in Asia's largest Wax Museum, in the Tokyo Tower:, showcasing him as a world class musician. This legendary guitarist of the 70's funky Germany has profoundly influenced today's electronic music, and his compositions are performed by contemporary ensembles like Zeitkratzer, by classical pianists as well as jazz musicians. Beginning as Ash Ra Tempel, later Ashra, then solo as Manuel Göttsching, creating and originating the German music scene together at a time when groups like Tangerine Dream, Agitation Free, Kraftwerk and Can, to name a few, put music made in Germany on the map.
