Audio circuits The following links to circuit diagrams and building projects I have found from other web sites. I have tested only very few of them so there is no guaratee that those circuit will work as expected. I don't have more info on those projects than what you can download from those sites which have the circuits. If you have more questions about those circuits then please mail the questions directly to the person who has designed the circuit or to the people responsible for those web pages. Plastic Pals - Robots who are fun to be with! How voltage, current, and resistance relate : OHM's LAW An electric circuit is formed when a conductive path is created to allow free electrons to continuously move. This continuous movement of free electrons through the conductors of a circuit is called a current, and it is often referred to in terms of "flow," just like the flow of a liquid through a hollow pipe. The force motivating electrons to "flow" in a circuit is called voltage. Voltage is a specific measure of potential energy that is always relative between two points. Free electrons tend to move through conductors with some degree of friction, or opposition to motion. To be able to make meaningful statements about these quantities in circuits, we need to be able to describe their quantities in the same way that we might quantify mass, temperature, volume, length, or any other kind of physical quantity. The "symbol" given for each quantity is the standard alphabetical letter used to represent that quantity in an algebraic equation. What is the amount of current (I) in this circuit?

Network diagram - computers etc A network diagram may refer to: Computer network diagram, a depiction of nodes and connections in a computer or telecommunications networkGraph drawing, methods for visualizing graphs and networks regardless of their applicationProject network, a flow chart showing the sequence of a project's tasks and their dependenciesSocial network, a social structure of individuals or organizations See also[edit] John Conway's Game of Life The Game The Game of Life is not your typical computer game. It is a 'cellular automaton', and was invented by Cambridge mathematician John Conway. This game became widely known when it was mentioned in an article published by Scientific American in 1970. playgameoflife.com New developments of this page will continue on playgameoflife.com. playgameoflife.com The Simulation Figure from the XKCD RIP John Conway comic. The Rules For a space that is 'populated': Each cell with one or no neighbors dies, as if by solitude. Each cell with four or more neighbors dies, as if by overpopulation. Each cell with two or three neighbors survives. For a space that is 'empty' or 'unpopulated' Each cell with three neighbors becomes populated. The Controls Choose a figure from the pull-down menu or make one yourself by clicking on the cells with a mouse. PCB's on the cheap Decent PCB's on the cheap. Version .2f (original 2003) Dal Wheeler Questions / Comments Email Me! New! Pictures of my business trip to China (6/2006) I've experimented with many home fabricated PCB methods. Toner transfer has been around for a while. 1. Basically use anything that you are comfortable with. 2. Use a gerber file viewer utility to load your newly created images. Printing from within this program as opposed to the layout software also has the nice side-effect of not having the holes included on the copper pads, giving you a little more copper / fudge room when you drill out the board later. On double-sided boards, print the bottom layer, cut out the image leaving 1-2" on one side to allow you to bind the top and bottom together. * Some have written me asking about the magazine stock that I have been using. 3. Clean off the oxide layer with a green kitchen scrubby. 4. 5. Fill a small bowl with luke warm water and a little dish soap.

Main / Home Page Physical Computing is an approach to learning how humans communicate through computers that starts by considering how humans express themselves physically. In this course, we take the human body as a given, and attempt to design computing applications within the limits of its expression. If you're using the physical computing shop at ITP, welcome. Newly Released Interview Proves That The Twin Towers Were Actually Imploded Demolition-Style, Not By The Bullshit Pancake Effect As Previously Thought! | Paranoid News - UFOs, Conspiracies and the end of the world. Get Paranoid! I know most of you believe that 9/11 was an inside job and the twin towers were actually brought down by demolition charges and not two commercial passenger jet airliners as the media wants you to believe, but there are a few people out there who still believe the attacks were legit and I don’t blame them, actually, for a brief time I believed it too. These attacks were incredibly well staged. So, for those of you who still believe in the pancake effect theory, here is an interview with two firefighters who had just emerged from the ruins of the WTC. They both say they heard a second and a third explosion just before the twin towers collapsed on their heads! Hit the break to watch the interview and be amazed by the courage of these two men. Let me tell you, that is pretty amazing. aaaaahh!!! Visit newsfall.com to read the entire article and watch an additional video: huge explosions Now, if you excuse me, I will be freaking out outside, I think the spider touched my elbow!!

Wiener While it is impossible to assign credit for the conception of Cybernetics to a single individual, certainly one of the people most responsible for its development and popularity as well as its theoretical shape was the mathematician Norbert Wiener (see Wiener, Norbert). Wiener wrote several popular books in which he coined the word "cybernetics," elaborated on its central concepts, and sought to illuminate its ethical and social implications. In so doing, he helped to spread the insights to be gained from studying control and communication systems, and also to heighten an awareness of the ethical and social consequences of automation and mass communication. As the son of one of the world's leading linguists, Wiener's etymology of "cybernetics" is itself instructive of his philosophy. Wiener did not coin the word until the summer of 1947, but he began the work leading up to the theory behind it in 1941, and published his theory in 1943. by Peter M. 1153 words For Further Research

This analyst is, a sensitive instrument, in the frequency changes and width of a acoustic signal.
