Anonyme et déconnectée d’internet, LA MOUSTREET#2 permet la découverte et le partage d’œuvres numériques dans la rue, de manière gratuite et libérée d’internet. Il s’agit d’une exposition téléchargée dans des clés USB (au nombre de 36) dissimulées et cimentées dans des murs de la ville de Toulouse. À l’époque de la dématérialisation massive des échanges sur la Toile nous avons besoin de repenser la liberté d’expression et des l’échanges de fichiers au niveau local. L’exposition s’adresse aux personnes qui souhaitent communiquer et échanger du contenu dans la rue. La Moustreet est inspirée du réseau DEAD DROP. Pour cette édition découvrez les QR CODES cachés dans certaines clés et découvrez si vous avez gagné un des nombreux lots offerts par La Moustacherie et ses partenaires. At the start of the evening, I hosted a panel discussion titled "Collecting Contemporary Art Means Collecting Digital Art." For the panelists, the title was also provocative for its use of the phrase "digital art." During the panel, Sacks also argued for the alternative term "new media," as this suggests more of a continuum of practices based on artistic experimentation with new tools, encompassing not only digital artists but also electronics tinkerers of the 1970s or biotech artists who work with DNA.
