Ad Impression Measurement Guidelines Measurement Guidelines and Measurement Certification: Overview In November 2004, the IAB and its members, with the support of major global organizations involved in the advertising and research disciplines, joined together to issue a global standard for counting online ad impressions. The initiative marked a number of significant firsts in the advertising industry. It was the first time that any advertising medium had developed a measurement standard that measures the ad itself, as delivered to a consumer, versus other media that measure the programming or content. Logo Design History - Famous Logos Adidas - a name that stands for competence in all sectors of sport all over the world. Adidas was founded by Adolf (Adi) Dassler, who started producing shoes in the 1920s with the help of his brother Rudolf Dassler who later formed rival shoe company PUMA AG. Adi Dassler's aim was to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. For this he followed three guiding principles: design the best shoe for the requirements of the sport, protect the athlete from injury, and make the product durable. Today, the Adidas brand product range extends from shoes, apparel and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf. The company's clothing and shoe logo designs typically feature three parallel stripes, and this same motif is incorporated into Adidas's current official logo.

iPad advertising formats that work Advertisement At ad:tech in New York last week, executives from Condé Nast and National Public Radio shared some of their tactics in capturing advertisers and developing new creative for their iPad apps. These two large media companies may not be representative of what publishers with smaller budgets and smaller audiences are able to do to attract advertisers to their iPad apps, but their exploration of iPad advertising gives some clues about what's working. Give purpose, don't repurpose. Michal Shapira, executive director of creative services and CND Studio at Condé Nast, said during a panel discussion at ad:tech that repurposing content from other mediums (such as TV commercials) doesn't work as well as creating content specifically for the iPad. “Detailed information and how-tos worked really well on the iPad,” Shapira said.
