TypeDrawing - Hansol Huh TypeDrawing originally started with online project in Jan 2005. Since then, a number of users have made fun and arty drawings using this program. Also, TypeDrawing has been featured on various famous websites like theFWA, and won several awards such as from FlashForward. In 2009, TypeDrawing iPhone version was released, and after one year, iPad version was released. Both iPhone and iPad version are way better than online version. It is much easier to draw by using your fingers (not a mouse), and many great features were added.

How To Integrate Live Tweets Into Your Presentations I’ve seen plenty of presentations that try to incorporate social media, polling, and other interactive tools. It’s all an effort to engage the audience and keep the conversation going. But usually these presentations don’t do it right. They say ‘mention my presentation with the XYZ hashtag’ or ‘like us on Facebook to see back-channel conversations’ and whatnot. Buisness inovation factory Ten years of connecting, collaborating, and experimenting has brought us to a simple conclusion — innovators are wired differently. One of the nation's most renowned storytelling gatherings, the BIF Summit provides innovators with the space to be curious and crazy, get inspired, and collide with unusual collaborators. Benevolent troublemakers need community, a space to play, and opportunities to collide. The BIF Summit exists as a means to enable a purposeful community of innovation junkies who want to design, prototype, and test new business models and social systems in the real world.

Web 2.0 to support the nets Web Tools that support this standard •Gizmos ExploreLearning currently has over 450 Gizmos with accompanying curricular materials, all with the aim of sharing the “Ah-Hah!” Web 2.0 List Here is a list of web 2.0 tools and other educational technology tools that I have previewed and many of them used in the classroom. bloomsapps Using Blooms Taxonomy in education is a highly effective way to scaffold learning for the students. With the recent popularity and pervasive nature of iOS devices in school districts it is essential for educators to understand how to implement Blooms in the classroom using the apps that are available. While this list is by no means fully comprehensive, it will assist educators in getting started when implementing iOS devices in the classroom. 8 Great Free Educational Resources for Teachers It is really amazing how technology is transforming education and making it way easier and better than it used to be. If you are a digital immigrant like me ( 30 years old up ), you would exactly not only know what I am talking about but also feel it. When I think back to those pen and pencil days when instruction used to take place in a boring classroom full of chalk dust and how hard and limited our access to information was, I know how lucky our students are to be living in this digital boom where unlimited knowledge is at their fingertips. Internet has definitely changed the course of education. It has revolutionized every facet of it and its train is still moving so you either hop aboard or lag behind and get outdated.

Learn What You Want, Teach What You Love The idea for MentorMob sprouts from the backgrounds of Kris Chinosorn and Vince Leung. Both avid learners, they found early on that the Internet was not quite the incredible tool for learning new skills and hobbies that everyone thinks it is. Even with millions of free lessons online, the content is almost impossible to navigate. "You don’t really know where to start, what to learn next or who you can trust, which is why in a sea of free content, people are still paying for online lessons." - Vince Leung, CTO Both Kris and Vince knew there had to be a better, more efficient way to learn for free online and that is when MentorMob was born.

9 Great New Web Tools for Teachers Everyday new web 2.0 tools emerge and some others die. It is thanks to the existence of such tools that internet became interactive and users shifted from the basic role of just passive consumers of digital input to active participant in the creation of the digital knowledge. The fact that this information revolution has radically transfomed education is no novel news to teachers and educators. The use of technology in education has become pervasive and the more we continue to invest in this field the better our instrction become. As I said before to keep track of the new web tools that are created almost every day is not an easy task for a teacher who already has several other peocupations.

Online Music Creator - Aviary.com's Roc As per this blog post from July, we have officially closed the advanced suite of Flash tools (previously located at advanced.aviary.com) in order to focus on our new company direction powering the photo experience in 3rd party apps. While we hoped that everyone would have taken the time to retrieve their files since our notice, we recognize that the message may not have been seen by everyone. Therefore, if you were not able to retrieve all of your files to date, please contact us at support@aviary.com from the email address associated with your account to help retrieve your files. Do this quickly. Please note that after September 30th, 2012, we cannot guarantee that your files will still be available for us to retrieve. While the tools will remain offline, we may continue to explore new homes in whole or in part, for specific elements of the suite.

5 Free Online Tools to Create Your Own Infographics Infographics and data visualizations have become incredibly popular ways to impart information while keeping your audience engaged. As a result, a slew of user-friendly, free online applications have been created which enable users to create their own information graphics. Here are five such tools that I think are particularly valuable: Wordle - Create beautiful and fully customizable word clouds with this free tool.

Alejandra Zicovich Docente de informática y DPD CEF San Buenaventura – Córdoba by progeed Oct 14
