List of country calling codes This is a list of country calling codes or dial in code defined by ITU-T recommendations E.123 and E.164, also called IDD (International Direct Dialling) or ISD (International Subscriber Dialling) codes. The dial plan of a telephone network designates a special trunk access prefix code, the international dialing prefix, which must be dialed before the country calling code, in order to select access to the international circuits of the network. The prefix is specific to the country from which the caller is dialing, but often it is 00 or 011. Generally, the need for this prefix is indicated with a plus sign (+) before the country code. International calling codes colored by first digit Tree list[edit] Ordered by code[edit] While there is a general geographic grouping to the zones, many exceptions exist for political and historical reasons. Zone 1: North American Numbering Plan Area[edit] The North American Numbering Plan Area includes: Zone 2: mostly Africa[edit] Zones 3-4: Europe[edit]

Historically, Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) was developed because of the limited image resolution in light microscopes, which is imposed by the wavelength of visible light. In 1925, Louis de Broglie first theorized that the electron had wave-like characteristics, with a wavelength substantially less than visible light. The resolution of a TEM in terms of the classical Rayleigh criterion for light microscopy states that the smallest distance that can be resolved is approximately equal to half the wavelength of light source. TEM comprises a range of different instruments which make use of the properties of electrons, both as particles and as waves. Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS) was among the first several institutions (others including Institute of Physics in Beijing and Institute of Metals in Shenyang) in China that started to use TEMs in materials research.

OER Commons Gantt Charts : A must-have tool for Project Managers I. Gantt Charts - Background While working on projects as their manager, I have often wondered how managers of earlier generations, before Henry Gantt was born, managed their men, material and money and saw their projects through. Facing stakeholders with reports of slippage and over-budgeting every now and then must have been a thankless job! A Gantt chart is a great way of knowing, at any point of time, where the project is heading. Every time we, as managers, go about doing our job – goading colleague X to complete item M f rom their to-do task that is now threatening to slip, patting colleague Y on the back for a tough assignment executed in time, coordinating with vendor V for supply of items rejected earlier, and liaising with functional heads from customers to make a presentation about the next phase in the project … a silent word of thanks to Henry Laurence Gantt escapes the lips. II. Like all simple ideas, a Gantt chart, is quite simple, really. Whew! III.

Academic Earth Gantt chart | From Middletown to the Middle East Gantt chart of my research project Over the years I’ve given my students a lot of advice on planning the paper writing process: Plan backwards from your goal. Look ahead to other obligations you might have coming. Break a large task into small pieces. Schedule in lots of time for revision. Make an outline. So now I am myself writing a paper – a very big paper. Well, my first response was just to stumble through it as best I could, letting what happens, happen. Like this: Like Loading...
