Pearltrees
Pearltrees refers to itself as "a place for your interests".[7] Functionally the product is a visual and collaborative curation tool[8][9][10][11] that allows users to organize, explore and share any URL they find online as well as to upload personal photos, files and notes.[12] The product features a unique visual interface[13][14] that allows users to drag and organize collected URLs, and other digital objects.[15] that themselves can be further organized into collections and sub-collections,[16] (URLs). Users of the product can also engage in social/collaborative curation using a feature called Pearltrees Teams.[17] Pearltrees was founded by Patrice Lamothe, CEO,[21] Alain Cohen, CTO,[22] Nicolas Cynober, Technical Director,[23] Samuel Tissier, Ergonomy/UI[24] and Francois Rocaboy, CMO.[25] History[edit] Development of Pearltrees began in 2007. Worries mount in Yucca Valley that Joshua trees will be designated an endangered species
To hear local leaders tell it, the proposed listing of western Joshua trees as an endangered species would be an economic catastrophe for the high desert Town of Yucca Valley. It would place an onerous regulatory burden on property owners, they say, at a time when they are being pinched by declining revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a state mandate to install a $375-million sewer system on parcels where the trees grow, as some residents put it, “like weeds.” But state wildlife authorities have recommended that Joshua trees be considered for listing. The recommendation was based on a review of a petition submitted by the Center for Biological Diversity, which argues that the trees are facing the risk of extinction after years of development, drought and more frequent wildfires due to climate change.

Some trees may 'social distance' to avoid disease
On a warm day in March 1982, biologist Francis “Jack” Putz strayed into a knot of black mangrove trees seeking relief from the afternoon heat. Drowsy from his midday meal and hours of fieldwork in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste National Park, Putz decided to lie down for a short siesta. As he gazed skyward, the wind stirred the tops of the mangroves above him, causing the limbs of neighboring trees to claw at each other and snap off some of their outermost leaves and branches. Putz noticed that this reciprocal pruning had left tracks of empty space running through the canopy.
Thousands of trees downed by March tornado to be replanted across Nashville
At least twice daily, large tree stumps scattered across Fisk Park are shadowed by a bowed baseball cage, bent swing sets and a dilapidated picnic pavilion. The historied North Nashville park nestled off 25th Avenue North and Burch Street hasn't always looked that way. Its grounds suffered a major blow when a deadly March 3 tornado swept across Nashville, destroying nearly everything in its path — including 120 of the park's long-standing trees.
‘The Simpsons’ Was the Key to Animation Domination on Fox — Now It’s Hulu’s Turn
Humbly listed at the bottom of recent press release, Hulu revealed a rather startling viewership statistic. In the last year, more than half of Hulu subscribers had watched at least one of its adult animated programs. Further still, nearly 40 percent watch some form of adult animation every month.
