Tech Tips and Tricks: Using Google Forms for Data Collection
Google Forms are a great way to gather information. Questions can take many forms (multiple choice, text, scale, etc.) and responses will automatically be collected in a Google Spreadsheet. Most examples of forms that I have seen have been to collect information from students - "get to know you" questions, assessments, class vote.

Ironclad secrecy is when, not only others cannot access it, they don’t even know it’s there. Secret messages have been used since the dawn of man to convey information without interception. Some of the ancient methods I’ve read about include tattooing a message on someone’s head and letting the hair grow back, and encasing messages in balls of wax, which the messenger had to swallow. Later on we had invisible inks, and if you were born anywhere between the 70s and 90s, I’m sure you had your fun with lemon juice, invisible markers, and so on. The science (or art) of hiding messages in pictures is called steganography, and in the digital age, can be used to hide secret messages in innocent-looking images. Looking at the picture, you have no idea there’s a secret message hiding inside, but with the correct tools or passwords, the secret message can be revealed.

First, I realized that The Lost Mummy players would need a set of clues. I created a simple clue-delivery method in the form of an explorer’s journal, filled with scribbled notes that would come in handy during the game. Challenge 1: Figure out how to open the stone door For this puzzle, I decided to give players a set of “stones” that needed to be arranged in the correct order to find a numeric code. The stones became game pieces that could be cut out with scissors and arranged on another image. Once players found the numeric code, they’d receive a cipher puzzle using hieroglyphics.

Man suspected of stealing Frances McDormand's Oscar arrested
A man who apparently swiped Frances McDormand’s Oscar trophy boasted about it on Facebook, claiming he won it for music, before being arrested on suspicion of felony grand theft. Terry Bryant, 47, was being held on $20,000 bail for allegedly stealing the statue at the Governors Ball party soon after Sunday night’s 90th Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood. A Los Angeles police department spokesperson said Bryant had a ticket for the event. “Sup babies, look, my team got this tonight. Who wants to tell me congratulations?”
