DIY Peel Off Mask – Blackhead Removal Post from: beautytips4her.com Please LIKE Beauty Tips 4 Her On Facebook so you don’t miss a post, giveaways and announcements. Many times I went to a beauty salon to have a highly trained professional apply an expensive mask, then patiently waited for breathtaking results. It’s hard not to think about the fact that you might get ripped off, and if the results don’t meet your expectations, this seed of doubt will only grow. It took me quite a while to take matters into my own hands, because my misconceptions about making peel-off masks at home got the better of me. It is neither complicated nor expensive to make such a mask, and some of the most effective ones require nothing more than a few tissues and an egg white. I didn’t expect the first experiment to work, so when I saw the blackheads on the tissue after removing it, I felt like discovering plutonium by chance. Before using this routine, make sure to clean and steam your face to open up the pores and allows effective pore cleansing.

For Oil- and Blemish-Prone Skin Lift & Tighten: Combine 2 Tbsp plain yogurt with 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (the juice of one lemon) and apply to your cleansed face and neck. To store the cream versions, small glass or plastic jars work well. If solid/stick versions are preferred, find them online (even eBay) by searching for “empty deodorant tubes” (or containers). Containers can also be salvaged from purchased products by cleaning them out really well. Here are a couple different recipes to get started with. Home 5 Quick Fixes for Anything That Jiggles: Health & Fitness We’ve all got a soft spot that bugs us. One of these moves will firm it up. Here’s a fact about flab: It results not only from lack of muscle tone but also from excess body fat. “You could do 1,005 crunches, but if you don’t do enough cardio, you’ll just have very toned muscles under a blanket of fat,” says Johanna Subotovsky, learning manager at Equinox Fitness. You need at least 30 minutes of cardio, three times a week. HELP FOR: Bra bulge To get rid of the little roll that spills over your bra strap in the back, try bent-over rows. Stand next to a chair with a dumbbell in right hand. HELP FOR:Inner- and outer- thigh mushiness The hips and thighs are the first place most women tend to store fat and the last place they lose it. With hands on hips, step forward with right foot and lunge (don’t let knee go past toes); return to start. HELP FOR:Underarm flab Triceps respond fast to exercise and fat loss, which means that you could see a change here in just a few weeks with chair dips.
does PINTEREST KNOW EVERYTHING? If you haven't read about why we do these posts, check out the explanation in our first "Does Pinterest Know Everything?" post. So Pinterest told me that if I braided my hair and then used a straightener on those braids, that I would end up with these beautiful waves. So naturally I click on the picture to see a tutorial and I just end up on an image. Here is my hair before, completely straight. Split all of your hair into two parts and then braid each part and secure with a hair tie of your choosing. Take one of the braids and twist it tightly away from your face. Place the straightener around the twisted braid and instead of just pulling the straightener down... Twist the straightener in the same direction the hair is twisted. This is what the braids looked like after being "straightened." When your hair has completely cooled, pull out your hair ties and run your fingers through the braids to release them. This is a front view of my hair. -Fast and easy -Inconsistent
How to Make Your Own Tinted Lip Balm I love a good lip balm year-round, but especially in the cold months when my lips can chap. I love a tinted lip balm even more, so imagine my excitement when I learned to make my own lip balm. I've tried several recipes and came up with this perfected version, which is cobbled together from a few I've tried. You can tint your balms using old lipstick or leave out the color so your husband can have a go at it, too. Ingredients You Need Lip balm is surprisingly simple to make, once you have the ingredients on hand. A double boiler (preferred) or a small saucepan A whisk 4 tablespoons of oil or 5 if you want a less firm balm. How to Make Lip Balm Place your double boiler or saucepan over low heat. Remove the pan from heat and add the drops of essential oil and the chunk of lipstick (this step is optional). Whisk the ingredients together (a fork will work if you don't have a whisk) for 45 seconds or until the mixture seems completely ready. More DIY Recipes
