Databases and search engines differ substantially in terms of coverage and retrieval qualities.[1] Users need to account for qualities and limitations of databases and search engines, especially those searching systematically for records such as in systematic reviews or meta-analyses.[2] As the distinction between a database and a search engine is unclear for these complex document retrieval systems, see: the general list of search engines for all-purpose search engines that can be used for academic purposesthe article about bibliographic databases for information about databases giving bibliographic information about finding books and journal articles. gelbukh Presentation International Journal of Translation, published since 1989 by Bahri Publications, solicits papers relevant for theory and practice of manual, computer-aided, or automatic translation. Publication has no cost for the authors, and the editorial house sends for free one complete copy of the issue to every author. This guarantees the quality of the papers: the publisher's income comes from the readers, not from the authors.

METAMORPHOSES -journal of literary translation- Metamorphoses is the journal of the Five College Faculty Seminar on Literary translation. Published in the spring and fall, the journal provides a forum for literary translation out of (and into) all languages, and for papers on the theory and practice of literary translation. We are no longer accepting submissions for the Fall 2017 general issue (the deadline for submissions was January 15, 2017). The next general issue is scheduled to appear in 2019. We have a rolling acceptance policy. The 2018 Double Issue is dedicated to languages and literatures of China and the Chinese diaspora.
