Inkflow is an iPad app for visual thinkers who like to sketch to process what they're hearing, seeing, and learning. iBrainstorm is a free brainstorming application for the iPad and the iPhone. Les cartes cognitives sont des représentations graphiques et structurées des relations existant entre différentes idées. Il existe deux types de cartes cognitives : les cartes heuristiques (ou cartes mentales) et les cartes conceptuelles. Les cartes heuristiques se caractérisent par une structure radiante (du centre vers l’extérieur : façon « soleil »). Visual thinking at work: How I used SmartDraw to communicate the essence of a complex product Mar 11th, 2010 | By Chuck Frey | Category: Software, Visual Thinking SmartDraw is a software program that is designed to help the average person to create great-looking diagrams, quickly and easily. But in my last job, I had very few opportunities to use it, so I really didn’t get a chance to use the latest version, SmartDraw 2010, for some real business applications. All that changed in January when I took a new job as marketing manager for a small safety training products firm. My first major project has been to help this company to launch an ambitious, multi-faceted training curriculum to the mining industry. The bottom line? Being a visual kinda guy, I realized almost immediately that one of the best ways to do that would be to create a visual that showed how all of these elements work together to provide a complete training solution. Here’s what I learned about SmartDraw 2010 in the process of working with it during the past two-and-a-half months:

[...] Je n’hésite jamais à proposer à l’apprenant de modifier sa carte sur une moitié pour qu’il puisse tester corporellement la différence entre les deux. « Soit juste attentif à ton ressenti. Sans blague…la personne la plus importante sur Terre, c’est vous ! A chaque coaching scolaire, je suis émerveillée par la créativité des jeunes.
