O ciclo é composto por quatro etapas, que ocorrem de forma contínua e simultânea. Elaboração - A proposta é elaborada pelos órgãos do governo e encaminhada ao chefe do Poder Executivo, que apresenta o projeto à Assembleia Legislativa do Estado. Discussão e Aprovação - O projeto é avaliado pela Comissão de Finanças Públicas da Assembleia Legislativa, que realiza audiências públicas e propõe emendas no texto original. Execução - Compreende a fixação de quotas orçamentárias e financeiras para cada unidade orçamentária, em conformidade com a LDO daquele ano. Avaliação e monitoramento - A Assembleia Legislativa, com auxílio do Tribunal de Contas do Estado, elabora balanços referentes à execução, que serão auditados pelos órgãos auxiliares do Legislativo. O orçamento público está dividido em duas fases: Receitas e Despesas.

Indigo has committed to delivering 2.2 million bushels of Indigo Rice™ to Anheuser-Busch that is grown with specific environmental attributes. Growers contracting with Indigo to produce rice for Anheuser-Busch will reduce water and nitrogen used by 10 percent and achieve at least 10 percent savings in greenhouse gas emissions compared to state benchmarks. You might also have learned about the then-developing field of nuclear fission. Today you might learn about Magna Carta still, possibly with a clearer understanding of its influence, but the field of machine learning would be the exciting new area instead of nuclear fission. Despite this inevitable and healthy, but gradual, development, it is worth asking whether a university or universities generally are still structured optimally for tackling the hard and typically trans-disciplinary problems faced by today’s society. In this context, you may have noticed that Columbia University is launching a Climate School. If climate is part of the curricula and research programs of so many parts of Columbia, you might ask “Why do we need a climate school?”
2021 EY Global Climate Risk Disclosure Barometer | EY - US Understanding the biggest emission-reduction levers up and down the value chain Understanding climate risks and opportunities goes beyond an organization’s own footprint and can involve more complex data management, analysis and forecasting. For most organizations, the emissions from up and down the value chain (Scope 3) are much higher than those from their own operations (Scope 1 and Scope 2). The biggest levers are likely to come either from downstream manufacturing or transport, or the upstream processing, use or transport of products. This is not just an issue in emission-intensive industries such as iron ore mining, where significant Scope 3 emissions come from a customer turning the product into steel. As a result, the most powerful emission-reduction levers are rarely intuitive. Not surprisingly, stakeholder scrutiny around value chain emissions is growing, especially in carbon-intensive and consumer-facing industries. Next steps for climate-related reporting
Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) NASA's Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) distributes Near Real-Time (NRT) active fire data within 3 hours of satellite observation from NASA's Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) and NASA's Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS). Each MODIS active fire/thermal hotspot location represents the center of a 1km pixel that is flagged by the algorithm as containing one or more fires within the pixel. Combined (Terra and Aqua) MODIS NRT active fire products (MCD14DL) are processed using the standard MOD14/MYD14 Fire and Thermal Anomalies algorithm. MODIS Collection 6 has been available since September 2015. Each VIIRS active fire/thermal hotspot location represents the center of a 375m pixel. The VIIRS data complement the MODIS fire detections but the improved spatial resolution of the 375 m data provides a greater response of fires over relatively small areas and has improved nighttime performance.
